19/04/2025: We are entering an exceptional moment of low turnout. Ideal timing, because shortly after the place comes alive with customers of all kinds: including the inevitable tourist who wants to wash down their Emilian lunch with an "invigorating" cappuccino.
We are immediately welcomed with some samples of aged parmesan, obviously appreciated.
We choose a lasagna, which is sublime, and tortelli in two ways: with herbs and with culatello. In both cases seasoned with butter and sage. Exceptional.
We would also be satisfied, but we can't resist the temptation to share a portion of meatballs, in parmesan cream. All accompanied by a glass of Lambrusco, not too pandering and perfect with the chosen dishes.
Open kitchen. Quick service, friendly and efficient waitresses. Essential environment. There is a store, whose products, coming from a well-known Parma dairy, we have already appreciated in the past. Recommended.
10/01/2025: We went to lunch at Gusto Parmigiano because we were staying nearby. The place is very cute and accessible. The lady who served us was very friendly and polite.
We ordered WINTER RISOTTO, which was good, and we also ordered TAGLIATELLE WITH RAGU AND 30-MONTH PARMIGIANO, which was completely unsalted and tasteless (I didn't ask for salt because the people with me thought it wouldn't be nice 😒) and OUR CLASSIC LASAGNE WITH 30-MONTH PARMIGIANO, which was also unsalted. We ordered two glasses of wine, one at a time, and they didn't change the glass 😒.
I don't plan on going back.
