Always a great stay, even if this time it was “just” to eat. very authentic, super friendly service and delicious food. For us, once again a highlight and a very special moment of enjoyment in Meran.

Really great. In the middle of the city, everything is close. The service is really top, everything is done efficiently and without any problems. The food is really good, breakfast and dinner are both really tasty. The rooms are nice and cool, and also very modern. I really liked it here, I can only recommend it.

Mediocre!! We had a pizza Tonno e cipolla and classic bruschetta. The pizza was OK, the bruschetta was burnt black on the edge. Sat in the inner courtyard, which at first glance looks very nice, but you are not allowed to look into the corners. A lot of bird droppings on lamps and a thick layer underneath. I have experienced friendlier service. Finally, the bill came with 6€ Coperto for 2 people, which I hate this tourist rip-off. For the 6 euros there wasn't even bread or breadsticks but at least cutlery so at least we didn't have to eat the food we paid for with our hands. Unfortunately we cannot recommend it.

We were in the restaurant. A pleasure! A great ambience in the historic house, beautifully set tables, everything very tasteful. Just like our food! Accompanied by very good service and with a moderate price ratio - great!

The restaurant is fully recommended! Great atmosphere and furnishings with exposed brickwork, dim lighting and wooden beams in the ceiling. Very friendly service! Very tasty food, at reasonable prices (Vienna veal schnitzel at €23).

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel and a delicious dinner in the hotel's bistro. Great atmosphere in an old building, nice rooms and very friendly staff. The breakfast is also an eye-catcher and very tasty. We would like to come again.

We found this place accidentally last Sunday evening, 14th April, and what a find it was. Tucked away, through a passageway, a pleasant outside dining area. We ordered the cold meat and cheese platter as a starter and then pizza. The house wine was well chilled and totally acceptable. The two young waiters were charming and efficient. The upstairs area where the toilets and rooms are located is so beautifully old fashioned, I am sure it’s a delight to stay there. Wish we had found this place on our first evening, better in every respect than the other two places we had tried.

Restaurant Pernhof

23/07/2024: Good location near the town center. Nice garden where you can also have breakfast. The service from the breakfast ladies is exemplary. However, the reception team is not very accommodating and comes across as rather arrogant. Information about hikes and bike tours was poor. Statement from the hotel: “Guests are more likely to come to swim”. We had a completely different experience on our 5 week trip (Brixen, Stresa and Arco). Requests were carried out, but one sometimes had the feeling that they were doing it reluctantly. The guest is annoying. The bike cellar is a bit too small and some guests don't look after each other's belongings. TG parking spaces are not available for all guests and cannot be reserved. Payment with AMEX is also not possible.
23/07/2024: The hotel has a great location in the center of Tramin and has a beautiful garden with a great view. A garage is available for parking for some guests, but not for all. Unfortunately, the bicycle cellar is far too small for the number of guests. As a result, some of our belongings were damaged. The rooms are large, there could be more space for storage in the bathroom and there are also no hooks for the bath towels. Unfortunately, we didn't get enough fresh towels on several occasions and the empties that were next to the full trash can were not disposed of. In addition, the house is very noisy, real curtains to darken it would be great, you are awake at sunrise in the morning. The breakfast is plentiful with a large selection, the ladies there are very nice and accommodating. We asked about bike and hiking tours with small children, but unfortunately we received hardly any recommendations or no clear answers to our questions.

07/08/2024: Excellent: cleanliness, food and customer care.
28/07/2024: The hotel impresses with its attractive architecture and rich history and is ideally located in the center of Kaltern, where guests even have parking spaces in the courtyard. The restaurant spoils you with delicious dishes, but the portions could perhaps be a little more generous. A rich and individual breakfast is offered to hotel guests (no buffet). The staff is courteous and friendly, especially the senior manager. Overall, this is an excellent place in a prime location.
