I've tried pizza by the slice, from Gianni, Scrocchia, and Bonci, but I've yet to find the crispiness of this dough equal. The fact that a well-topped pizza stays taut and firm with every bite, yet isn't heavy (my stomach never bloats in the evenings) means a lot. Congratulations!!!

11/01/2026: A small focaccia shop with a huge heart 🩵 We came to visit the abbey, and it's right in front of it. The quality of the ingredients and the cuisine was top-notch, and the staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home! Highly recommended 🙏🏻

02/11/2025: We stopped in Genzano and, while having dinner at Mascelloni, asked for breakfast the next day. They recommended the Belardi pastry shop. We were surprised by the deliciousness and quality. We'd never had such delicious maritozzi (with freshly whipped cream).
