We arrived here in Lido yesterday and at the Hotel Sirenetta. We asked where we could eat and were told to go to Romolo. After checking in, we found it on Google Maps and marked it. We then walked over, where the chef personally greeted us and assigned us a table. The food and atmosphere are indescribable. Simply put, delicious food and pizza.

Saturday night, white night in Ostia. A sea of people, the place was packed, and there was little wait to get a table at 9:40. Thin Roman-style pizza... delicious! My compliments to the owner, Alessandro—I don't know him but I heard him called—for his team. The service was exceptional considering the amount of work that evening. The staff were always available and smiling, and for me, that's the added value of a place.

Everything was perfect! We ordered two carbonaras, with a spaghetti and rigatoni option. I wanted to compliment the waitress on her accurate and timely order.
The portions were generous, and it was a delight. Despite it being a Saturday night and a crowded place, the food arrived in 15 minutes.
We'll be back to try the gricia!

A neighborhood restaurant in the pedestrian area of Ostia's city center, just 100 meters from the sea. Excellent Mediterranean cuisine interpreted by a young chef. In the evenings, it's a pizzeria and restaurant. The daily specials are always tempting, often featuring local seafood. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed, and the quality/price ratio is excellent. Their decades-long history in the area also helps them.

Locale ben curato, personale di sala gentile e competente.
Gli antipasti che abbiamo provato erano molto buoni, ma la vera specialità è stato il primo: Spaghetti alle vongole Spettacolari!!! Da tempo non ne mangiavo di cosi squisiti, complimenti!!!

Siamo andati con amici in questa pizzeria ed è stata una bella scoperta. L'ambiente è gradevole, la pizza buona, leggera, anche chi non ha preso la pizza ma ha mangiato dei primi piatti, li ha trovati buoni. Consigliato
