This restaurant is a safe bet, every time I go to eat pizza I go there, the waiters are friendly and fast, the pizza and fried foods are delicious, there is plenty of choice for desserts

An alternative to the usual seafood restaurant near the Ostia waterfront for a meat/pasta lunch, in line with the high prices in the area (€20 for a second course of the day and €3 for a bottle of water). Service is fairly quick. A shame about the demi-glace sauce...but what a shame, I'd say, in keeping with the management, and about the tasteless chestnuts with the roast. It's best to stick to simple dishes.

This restaurant is located in Ostia Lido, just steps from the pedestrian area. It's easy to reach and reservations are simple. The welcome was warm and professional, and on a weekday lunch, I found plenty of seating in a quiet atmosphere. I started with a tomato bruschetta, kindly offered by the restaurant, followed by tagliatelle with meat sauce, a traditional and well-balanced flavor. For my second course, I chose pork loin pizzaiola style with a side of potatoes, a hearty and flavorful dish, accompanied by a glass of Montepulciano. The prices are reasonable and in keeping with the overall quality, making it a reliable option for a pleasant lunch in Ostia Lido.

In addition to being a historic pizzeria in Ostia, exquisitely Roman, low-key and excellent with quality ingredients, now with the new location where they moved a few years ago they have also added meat and fish catering. Excellent first courses of the highest quality. Their seafood salad, which I tasted a few days ago, I cannot compare it to any other. Fresh, high-quality products offer an experience that you will definitely want to try again. I added some spaghetti with clams, made to perfection, they reminded me of those I ate some time ago on the coast and for Romolo that is a nice compliment.......

I really love Romolo al Centro!
For the food, everything is excellent: the appetizers, the first courses, the pizza, whose dough is always cooked to perfection!
For the atmosphere, it makes you feel at home!
For the quick service and the friendly waiters/owners, always with a smile.
It's my go-to place in Piazza Anco Marzio.

A lovely, quiet place in the pedestrian area, with knowledgeable staff who can handle even the busiest moments. Delicious dishes made with superb ingredients, like the spaghetti with anchovies and pecorino cheese, or the pizzas with family-run fried foods. The desserts are delicious, and the bill is fair.
