We went to Romanzo and absolutely loved everything! The restaurant is elegant yet welcoming, with young, friendly staff and attentive service. The dishes are beautifully presented and full of flavor—the fried zucchini flowers, polenta sticks, and macaroni al pettine are all excellent. The grilled meats are excellent, and the desserts are fantastic (the tiramisu is highly recommended). You can taste the passion in the kitchen, and the atmosphere is relaxed. One of the best restaurants we've tried in Carpi!

We had a great time, the service was fresh, young, attentive and friendly... the raw materials were delicious and treated with care, excellent value for money, and for me, seeing such young, willing, professional and smiling guys made us relax and enjoy a beautiful anniversary dinner.

It's hard to find such a welcoming and well-kept place in this area. The staff is truly friendly and knowledgeable. Finally, a restaurant where the price is absolutely in line with the service and food. The only flaw... they bought the tiles from someone else.

Family table of 10 to celebrate 3 birthdays, everything was excellent, good service, professional and friendly staff, the only flaw is that perhaps the "group" appetizers should be counted better.

We returned for the second time for dinner with friends. The place has excellent parking and is easy to get to. The place is very beautiful and well-decorated. The food was really good, from appetizer to dessert. Nothing to complain about, excellent quality. The only downside is the slightly high price, but every now and then it's okay to break the routine.

I discovered this restaurant by chance on my way back from a mountain holiday. The staff is young and very polite. The location is beautiful, both inside and out. The dishes are tasty and beautifully presented. I really enjoyed the burrata and the maccheroni al pettine. The cured meats and parmesan are also delicious. The prices are in line with the quality offered. I will definitely be back.

Restaurant located just outside Carpi. Minimalist yet elegant inside, a slightly more pared-down exterior. Original menu, ranging from traditional dishes to more contemporary dishes—some perhaps a bit overdone, but generally well executed. The orange caramels and slow-cooked duck breast are excellent. The stracciatella and confit cherry tomato "girasoli" are also excellent, as is the wine selection, with a fairly extensive cellar. Impeccable and attentive service. Fairly priced, around €55 for two dishes, plus about half a bottle of wine per person, water, and cover charge. Also recommended for a dinner for two.

03/09/2025: It's my FAVORITE restaurant, my favorite place, where time stands still and the rest of the world stays outside, a refined and sophisticated place. As soon as you walk in the door, you're enchanted by the display case and the assortment of cheeses and cured meats. The restaurant has been selected nationally to organize high-level events. Stefano is wonderful, kind, helpful, highly knowledgeable, the perfect host 🤩 It's a family-run business and you can taste it in the flavor of their dishes.
23/08/2025: The Simposio dei Sensi, a place that won me over. Refined, welcoming, with particular attention to the choice of raw materials. Upon entering, you're enchanted by the two refrigerated counters, one stocked with a carefully selected cheese selection and the other with a unique selection of cured meats. There's no menu; the waiter will tell you about it because it changes so often. WHAT I ATE: I chose the tortelli filled with Stilton, a French blue cheese, served on a bed of pumpkin cream with raspberry drops. A very balanced and delicious dish. Next, a shin of patanegra (a type of ham) on a bed of mashed potatoes—it was simply delicious. The manager, on his own initiative, brought us a small tasting of Roccaverano robiola and Grigentana goat cheese with lavender honey—a true delicacy. For dessert, a crème brulee—perfect. ● WHAT I DRINK: On the owner's recommendation, I drank a 2021 Pletter Lagrein from Cesconi, a wine that paired perfectly with the dishes. Excellent choice. ● VENUE: The place is very welcoming with a very relaxing atmosphere. Not at all noisy. ● STAFF: The service was impeccable, the waiter very attentive and made us feel at ease. ● PRICE: The price of €95 per couple was reasonable considering the quality of the dishes and the service. ● TIP: If you're looking for a place with high-quality traditional cuisine, where the ingredients are carefully selected, Simposio dei Sensi is an excellent choice. Try it! The place is only open on Friday and Saturday evenings, so book in advance.
