I had lunch at this bistro and I must say it was a truly pleasant experience. You're transported to an authentic Roman world, despite being in Altamura: the atmosphere, dishes, and details are perfectly reminiscent of Rome. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the place is truly beautiful and well-kept. I recommend it!

I went to this restaurant for dinner on Saturday. The food was excellent, especially the pasta dishes and the pinsa. The service is very fast and the waiters are always very helpful. They also have a wide selection of wines to choose from, although you can also opt for a beer, as we did. I will definitely be back.

A beautiful place with great taste in its furnishings. Service was a bit slow for a place with limited seating. A very extensive wine list, but unfortunately, several were missing—a shame! On the other hand, I drank a spectacular white wine (PECORINO) that paired perfectly with the tonnarelli carbonara with truffle and zucchini—DIVINE! I would recommend reviewing the wines paired with the dishes on the menu because they are random and inappropriate. The pinsa was also excellent; I recommend it, although I can't say the same for the desserts. I will definitely be back, thank you!

I highly recommend this refined yet down-to-earth place, with friendly and efficient staff, where excellent food is complemented by an idyllic atmosphere.

Excellent. We've been coming here several times to enjoy Mr. Nino's delicious Roman cuisine... they're truly superb... Refined and truly delicious... My compliments, you can tell he puts love and passion into the dishes he prepares himself... Coming back here is always a true taste experience for us.

EXCELLENT. My husband and I went to dinner for our anniversary, and we had a great time. The trump card? I am pregnant and they adapted the entire menu based on my needs, making me eat everything from carbonara to tiramisu. So much attention and care. Incredible food and the serene and peaceful environment. Absolutely everything perfect.

Il ristorante si presenta in modo carino e accogliente, e il personale si è dimostrato gentile e professionale. Tuttavia, l’esperienza nel complesso non ci ha convinti. I piatti serviti non hanno lasciato il segno: nulla che richiamasse davvero la tradizione romana, come ci saremmo aspettati, e le porzioni erano piuttosto contenute. L’unico elemento che abbiamo apprezzato davvero è stato il pane, molto buono. Nel complesso, purtroppo, non è un posto in cui torneremmo.

12/10/2025: Mediocre cuisine. We noticed that if you choose the €35 fixed menu, everything is very limited in terms of dishes. Plus, there were 10 appetizer courses on the menu, but we only received 7. The first courses were very poor, with only a small amount of pasta.... Second courses were mediocre, and apart from the fruit and dessert, they choose both the desserts they bring you and the fruit with a small skewer with 3 small pieces of fruit..... in short, the €35 menu is not worth what they give you...

05/10/2025: My experience was not good. I haven’t completed my risotto because it smelled strange and It wasn’t very tasty, at least not to my taste. And I was not even asked why. Services was good, just a not property washed glass for a wine. Probably I was expecting something wow from the restaurant in Italy mentioned in Michlene guide.
04/10/2025: Thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Jamanté. This is a true fine dining experience. The service is impeccably formal and attentive, yet warm and friendly. We felt very well taken care of. The food provided creative twists on traditional tastes. And the atmosphere was absolutely gorgeous, while also soothing and comfortable. We especially loved the table! The only unfortunate thing is that despite being so near such a beautiful town and surroundings, the location doesn't allow for views. I guess the nice trade-off is that the place is a little quieter, more secluded, and less crowded than it would be if it was closer to the action of the center of town. It was actually kind of nice to step away from the livelier side of things!
