Note to self: Not the best view. Tap beer. Good lift connection point. Good selection of foods and drinks. Clean toilets. Insane dry aged beef fridge and wine selection 🤯

A modern, wooden restaurant. Built on several floors and featuring a lovely terrace at the foot of the Matterhorn. The restaurant is located right off the cable car connecting Cervinia to Plain Maison. Excellent food, and the staff are attentive, yet knowledgeable and professional. The only drawback is that it's a bit pricey, but you know... everything in mountain huts is more expensive. I returned this year in the winter and ate at the restaurant (the restaurant also has a self-service cafe and a bar stocked with sandwiches, pizzas, and focaccias). If you don't reserve, you'll have to wait a bit for a table. The food is excellent, but the prices are a bit high.

We had lunch twice here and it was delicious. The service was excellent. Can also recommend the hot chocolate.

Right next to ski lift and gondola, very convenient location. There’s a self service section if you didn’t make reservations. They have salads, pasta, soup and stew, but not much variety. But it’s convenient and fast!

Rocce Nere (Cervinia) – Disappointing Lunch, What a Pity I had lunch at Rocce Nere with a 2:30 PM reservation, but my table wasn't assigned until 3:00 PM: a half-hour wait without particularly attentive management or a welcome to compensate for the delay. Unfortunately, the order was also mishandled: I had ordered ossobuco risotto, but I received shrimp risotto. A major mistake, especially since it completely changes the flavor and ingredients. The second course, a rib-eye, was good and well-executed; it was the highlight of the lunch. However, there was also confusion regarding the wine: I ordered a Valpolicella Ripasso, but they brought me a Valpolicella Classico, while the receipt still stated Ripasso. This is annoying, because the customer should pay exactly what they receive. To make the experience worse, the owner's attitude was rude, which truly leaves a bitter taste in the mouth more than any mistake in the dining room. In summary: the meat quality is good, but between the wait, the order errors, and the unprofessional management, it wasn't a great lunch. With more customer service, it could be a much better place, but as it is, I wouldn't recommend it. Rating: 2.5/5

Very chaotic and noisy but it's a good solution for eating a good hot dish quickly.
