Reserved at 7:00 PM. Plenty of room and we (2 people) were assigned the table in the corner. The request for drinks came shortly after we were seated, but it took 55 minutes before we could place our order after insisting. Some couples and groups of 4 people who arrived after us were served more quickly. The food was ok but nothing special for a steep price. In summary: mediocre food, poor service.

Excellent food and good wine at moderate prices.

We came here on the recommendation of several friends and were really looking forward to it. To put it bluntly, anyone who goes there hungry needs good nerves and time! The restaurant was full on a Wednesday, so we were glad we had a reservation. We received our antipasti after about 45 minutes. The bruschetta was very tasty! After almost 1:15 hours we were kindly informed that our Primi Piati would take about 10 minutes. The porcini mushroom risotto and the wild boar ragout were excellent!! As secondi we had beef and rabbit. Both tasted really delicious and are recommended, but they only arrived after about two hours in the restaurant, shortly before 10 p.m. I was disappointed with the fried potatoes that turned out to be baked potatoes (possibly from the frozen food) Our conclusion: it was delicious. However, there could have been a little more of everything. The waiting times were far too long for me personally, especially because we had a child with us. But it's just right for a romantic evening for two with plenty of time for conversation.

Wir waren 2 mal Abendessen und es war mega. Feines Essen, feiner Wein und Personal sehr zuvorkommemd. Chef nimmt sich auch Zeit für ein Gespräch was in der heutigen Zeit fast nicht mehr vorkommt. Danke und bis bald wieder.

Der Name und die Lage (nahe an einem Campingplatz) hatten mich etwas skeptisch gemacht aber wir wurden positiv überrascht. Nettes Restaurant mit sehr engagierten englischen und zum Teil deutsch sprechenden Bedienungen. Auch die Karte gab es in deutsch und englisch. Das Essen war gut. Wir hatten vegetarische Antipasti, die obligatorischen Nudeln mit Tomatensoße für den Sohn und Seezunge. Außerdem noch Pasta mit Trüffeln. Die hatte ich aber deutlich besser vor zwei Tagen in Bolgheri. Die holländische Großfamilie am Nachbartisch war ein akustisches Inferno aber dafür kann das Restaurant ja nichts! Also, klare Empfehlung. Danach kann man gut in Casale Marittimo am kleinen Platz im Ort etwas trinken gehen.
