It's a unique place. You arrive in a special place, with incredibly good ice cream, a wonderful Aperol Spritz and a splendid view. It's not too touristy, which allows you to get a taste of the real Italy. But the real highlight is the girl at the counter. She is incredibly kind and helpful, bright but modest, cheerful and sociable. It's the best place in Messina.

02/06/2025: Very polite and helpful, good value for money. Very beautiful setting
31/05/2025: Nice restaurant with lake view, indoor and outdoor dining. Since it was a windy day we had lunch inside. Delicious food!!! All fresh and very very good! We had a mixed appetizer and a mussels pepper dish, two first courses, risotto with seafood and paccheri with shrimp and pistachio. Truly a delight! The portions are generous, I was convinced to have the second course but unfortunately I was full! The guys who took care of our table were kind and present but not intrusive! Even if we have already complimented the chef, I think it is right to do so again! To him but also to the guys in the service!!! The prices are fair for the quality of the food and the portions! Highly recommended restaurant! On our next vacation we will definitely be back!

03/06/2025: This place was OK. We liked the quirky decor. Service wasn't the most attentive eg we got given bread alongside the main courses rather than while waiting, but there was a large group eating nearby so that might've been the reason. We didn't have to wait too long. Unfortunately we didn't find the food as good as elsewhere. The mixed salad, chips and squid were fine, but we found the lasagna a bit average and the pizza more takeaway standard. The breaded chicken was disappointing: small and flat with a dollop of cold mash alongside, when we were expecting a larger thickly-breadcrumbed breast with a salad or similar. Our kids left quite a bit which is unusual. Maybe we just came on a bad day but the standard didn't seem as good as elsewhere for several dishes.
29/05/2025: Very goog place, location, fresh air, staff frandly. A place to hide from tourists 👍
