We were on a trip to Carpi on a Sunday in May and by chance we ended up at Duomo 13. We had a great time and had a pleasant culinary experience.

An excellent experience. Tried by chance, but still enticed by the excellent reviews, we discovered a truly excellent place in our Carpi. We were welcomed by the owners who immediately put you at ease. You sit down and it feels like you are at home with friends who assist you with professional but truly welcoming ways. For this time we decided on the fried gnocco and the cold cuts platter, the result being that the gnocco is amazing, soft and absolutely not greasy, which is not obvious, for me with stomach problems I would have eaten two pieces and that was it, instead with theirs I would have eaten endlessly, and the cured meats were really excellent. We decided on a pasta, homemade pasta with pecorino cream and crispy bacon, result, I brushed those too. For this first experience it went like this, and therefore very satisfying, but we are determined that there will be no shortage of other occasions and often to eat in this place. Thanks to the owners and the kitchen staff.

Four Florentines walking around Carpi who entered by chance and were immediately welcomed by four delightful people who put passion into what they do, both in the kitchen and in the dining room. We recommend it.

If you are thinking of taking a trip to Carpi, stop here for a taste stop, like we did today for lunch.
You will be welcomed by 2 couples of friends with a passion for good food and the desire to share the goodness of the area.
The ladies take care of the kitchen in a fantastic way and the men follow the room presenting each dish on the menu exhaustively.
The menu offering ranges from cold cuts and cheese platters with attention to origin and processing.
The former are the reflection of the territory obviously seasoned by the flair of the cooks... I must say that despite not having tasted them they inspired me a lot.
The meats then cooked at low temperatures (one of their specialties) are tender and tasty.
Really good.
The winery's offering is excellent.
What can I say, except that it makes you want to come back.😋
And then they are campers like me and this makes me root for them 😉

The Ristosalumeria in Carpi is a true culinary gem! I tried the shin with potatoes and it was exceptional: soft, succulent and perfectly cooked meat, accompanied by tasty and crunchy potatoes. The staff is friendly, professional and always attentive, making the atmosphere even more pleasant. A place to try absolutely!

Super apt choice for a total immersion in the tastes and flavors of Modena cuisine.
From Zocca cheeses to homemade pasta, from CBT meat to rosé Lambrusco... it was a wonderful journey!

Owners (I presume), polite, kind and well-prepared. It is clear that they have turned their passion into work. We took two very tasty macaroni with meat sauce and bacon (and very hot, I burned myself😅), a pork fillet and smoked pork ribs (the smoking directly at the table was spectacular). Very good glass of red wine. Water and coffee. We will return to taste their cold cuts.

Pricey but all good. The owner is chatty but very precise in explaining wines and dishes. We had a good time, I think we'll be back.
