Abbiamo scelto questo ristorante perché lontano dai turisti, e per via delle recensioni. Il proprietario è molto alla mano, e molto pisano, il cibo un po meno. Il menu con due primi e una tagliata lo trovo un po trappola per turisti. I primi sono due assaggini. Buono quello al cinghiale. Pervenuti freddi. Il vino non è locale. Pessima la tagliata, insapore, anche se morbida, detta dal proprietario angus argentino. Per me che volevo Carne locale è stata una grande delusione, e mi sembrava uguale a quella che prendo al supermercato. Se non peggio . Un primo preso a parte rispetto al menu è costato 11 euro. Peccato avevo aspettative più alte da un posto che si chiama pisano

We were welcomed and served by a friendly and nice gentleman (I think it is Mr. Massimiliano), very attentive to everything but never excessively. Airy and relaxing environment, few tables, authentically homely trattoria atmosphere. Traditional local food, excellently prepared, served like at home, with nice portions and without unnecessary frills. Very honest account. In conclusion: if you love "chic" places with spectacular decorations and formal ceremonies, stay away. If, however, you like concreteness, simplicity, where what counts is the quality of the food and the hospitality, try it with confidence, you will not be disappointed. As far as I'm concerned, I have chosen Ristoro Pisa as my favorite restaurant, that place to go after a tiring day or to reward yourself with something good to celebrate.
