Highly recommended. Massimo and Alessandro are two wonderful people. We tried both the fish and meat menus. With my wife and 5-year-old daughter, we had a mixed seafood appetizer (tuna, mackerel, swordfish, and connolicchio), gnocchi cacciuccati, tagliatelle with wild boar ragu, and finally an excellent peposo with spinach. Everything was delicious, including the wine they produce. What can I say? We'll definitely be back!!! The price was moderate to high, but in our opinion it was appropriate for the quality of the dishes.

And just when I was starting to feel tired, along one of the most evocative stages, I discovered an oasis of peace and authenticity: the Amandolo Refreshment. This place is simply magical. Immersed in the greenery of the Mediterranean scrub, with a view that revitalizes the soul, it's much more than a simple refreshment point. It's a corner of paradise on earth. The atmosphere is one of absolute tranquility, the perfect place to recharge before continuing on the journey. What made the experience truly unforgettable was Alessandro, the owner. His welcome was nothing short of exquisite. Kind, helpful, and with a contagious passion for his land, he immediately made me feel at home. He provided invaluable advice on the route and delighted me with fresh, authentic local products, which after hours of walking were truly a blessing. I wholeheartedly recommend a stop at Ristoro dell'Amandolo to anyone hiking the GTE or simply exploring the trails of Elba. It's not just a stop, it's one of the experiences that make this trip unique. Mark it on your map, add it to your itinerary, but don't miss it for anything. It's a piece of Elba that will remain in your heart. Absolutely a top-notch experience. A stop that alone is worth the trip!

An excellent culinary experience: exceptional meat and fish! We were so impressed with our first dinner (the fish menu) that we returned a second evening, curious to try the other menu. Both times, the food was superb: the selection of cured meats and cheeses was superb, and the fish was fresh and delicious. A true pleasure for the palate, so much so that it merits a second visit! Highly recommended for those seeking a high-quality gastronomic experience.
