L'Osteria dell'Alpe is one of those rare places that feels like home from the moment you walk in, thanks to the warm, attentive service from the whole team—especially Anna, who seemed to read our minds when it came to food and wine. We've returned five times already, making it a must-stop every time we pass from Switzerland to Lago di Como to enjoy their delicious local cuisine made with fresh, mountain-sourced ingredients like cheese and salami. It’s so special that my father even traveled from Hungary just to savor their famous Fiorentina and polenta—an unforgettable meal in a truly welcoming setting.

Excellent food especially the polenta and the pork shank. The cheeses in the starter were very good. Nice and kind staff. Beautiful place. As for the price, I don't know because lunch was offered to us. If we are in the area we will return.

Serata fantastica cameriera eccezionale gentilissima caminetto acceso con ottima atmosfera, vorrei fare i complimenti a tutto lo staff ma anche allo chef, carne cotta benissimo ottimo tutto consiglio vivamente questo posto molto caratteristico. piatti freschi eccezionali. complimenti.

Excellent food in a nice and clean place, typical mountain decor and pleasant atmosphere. The service was a little inattentive, we would have preferred the wine list to be on paper and not just told by the staff, the dishes arrived at different times but for everything else we were fine!

08/03/2025: Am 7. März durch Zufall diese nette, etwas versteckt am See liegende Restaurant gefunden. Die direkt am See, in der Sonne liegende Terrasse mit traumhafter Aussicht, läd zum verweilen ein. Eine ausgewogene Speisekarte mit, trotz der nahen Schweiz, normalen Preisen. Die von uns bestellten Gerichte waren alle von sehr guter Qualität. Ein super freundliches Personal rundete den Aufenthalt ab. Einzigster Kritikpunkt; die sanitären Einrichtung könnte besser sein. Wir kommen gerne wieder,

31/05/2025: Friendly staff, speaking French, shaded terrace sheltered from the road or with a view of the lake. Very good pizza, pasta too. The service was a little slow, (knowing that there were 10 of us!) but the setting kept us waiting without any problem. The prices are reasonable.
31/05/2025: We came for a drink. But the service was super friendly that we also decided to order food. Amazing view of the lake. Service when above and beyond. She literally pulled the heavy umbrella for us, that we would have shade from the 30'c weather.
