The environment is characteristic, extremely simple and familiar: children (probably relatives of the owner?) crossing the dining room with pizza boxes, cat walking between the tables waiting for a bite but no caresses. More than generous portions, good starters and main courses.

The tortellini (in broth, obviously) are very good, as is the venison steak, tender and plentiful; the house's pignoletto is good

An escape from the heat of the "lower" and we arrived in Vidiciatico. We read the reviews of this place and as always, they were truthful. We found a very nice place, excellent service, courteous, punctual and fast and excellent food, served in generous portions. We ate polenta with venison, wild boar and mushrooms and a mixture of excellent cured meats, delicious cheeses and fantastic fried mushrooms and sage. Excellent quality/price ratio. When we return to these parts, we will definitely stop to eat at the roe deer's den. Well done 👏 👏 👏 👏 Keep it up!

07/01/2025: The refugee workers are really smart! The food is fantastic and the atmosphere is magical. Definitely worth returning also for the courses they offer.
06/01/2025: We stayed in a group of 4 friends for 2 days as guests in the Segavecchia Refuge. The quality of the food is very high, as is the welcome. Excellent value for money. There are many activities on offer. We followed a field course on the recognition of edible and medicinal wild plants. We loved the atmosphere, we felt at home. Congratulations to the boys and girls for the management. Keep it up. See you again in spring!
