For the last 25 years, every time we vacation in Rome, The Margutta has been our favorite restaurant. They have a wonderful and affordable lunch buffet every day. They have a wide variety of Italian dishes in light, vegetarian and vegan versions. There is something for every taste. My non vegetarian friends love it. The place is elegant and graced by great works of art. The staff is welcoming and friendly. Desserts are delicious but healthy.

Today was the first time in this place. There were two of us, we tried an appetizer and a first course each. They also have an option that they call a buffet, perhaps for a quick lunch. In reality you can only take one plate and one bowl and you cannot repeat it. It will certainly have a low cost, but rather than a buffet I would call it the dish of the day of your choice. However we chose à la carte, and waited about thirty minutes. However, the waiter (brown, beard and earrings, very polite) brought us an appetizer each to while away the wait, apologizing, a much appreciated gesture. Presentation of the dishes good, flavour, although logically personal, very good. The lady at the cash register was very kind and before letting us pay she asked us to check if the receipt was correct. It never happens and it is a gesture that certainly gives a sense of security and transparency to the customer. We will definitely be back to try other dishes!

Traditional veg restaurant. Very central location. Very nice environment with exhibitions of contemporary artists. All-you-can-eat Sunday buffet for 28 euros. Excellent idea but small space for food. Average quality, many dishes, expected hot, are cold. It would be necessary to keep them warm or have a microwave available Good variety.

An exceptionally good place to dine. Maybe we were a little rougher than the jsual customers, which produced a little hesitation upon arrival but soon evaporated. Service prompt and pleasant. Food exceptional, to not be given vegetarian lasagne but good new dishes with Balanced flavours was a delight. I can not recommend the restaurant highly enough. Beer is not on the menu, but it is available. Just ask.

Ezio è stato un cameriere perfetto! Il locale: accogliente, curato, molto piacevole. Ogni piatto era gustoso e raffinato. Ottima la presentazione! Abbiamo sfruttato un pacchetto della Boscolo e non potevamo scegliere di meglio! Apprezzatissimo la frittellina offerta dallo chef: quei piccoli gesti che ti fanno venir voglia di tornare. Delizioso il pane e i grissini, altro dettaglio affatto scontato! Squisite le frittelle di zucchine. Strepitoso il primo, come anche il salmone e la tempura di verdure. Come dolce, ho preferito quello al mango rispetto al crumble di amarena. Tutte le proposte possono essere effettuate senza glutine. Si trova in pieno centro, a due passi da Piazza di Spagna.
