This "Ristorantino" (little restaurant) is a pleasant discovery, just steps from the SS5 Salaria. Excellent food, generous portions, and courteous service are very welcome. One small note: even though we live in the digital age, some people would appreciate reading the paper menu. Two printed copies wouldn't hurt.

I booked online the first time, and they were kind enough to send me a cancellation email and call me back personally since they were closed for lunch. The atmosphere is welcoming and clean, with qualified and friendly staff. The food is plentiful, with delicious first courses and the tagliata (beef steak) is incredibly tender. Everything is in line with the more than fair prices. I highly recommend it.

An exceptional place, both for the quality of the food and the attentive service and family atmosphere. The highlight of the place is definitely the tagliata! 🥩 I think one of the best you'll ever eat. We opted for the classic one with balsamic vinegar and arugula and the one with honey. Perfectly cooked and guaranteed to melt, you could cut it with just a fork. To accompany, the arrosticini and pasta dishes are also recommended. Finally, the prices are very fair. Congratulations 👏

A relatively small restaurant, but definitely worth a try! Very tasty appetizers made with top-quality ingredients! "Pappardelle with wild boar" was too spicy for my personal taste, as I prefer to taste the meat itself. "Spaghetti chitarra with guancialetto" was tasty but quite oily! Exceptional Italian beef tagliata, both the classic version (cherry tomatoes, arugula, and parmesan), the "Novara" version with gorgonzola and walnuts, and the one with truffle! The French fries, cut into boats, were delicious! We were offered liqueurs at the end of the meal: gentian, ratafia, and meloncello. Private parking is available. My only negative point was that I didn't like the paper bread basket, which, for health reasons, was not changed for every customer! Highly recommended!

Restaurant Rinascimento

13/04/2025: Ingredienti del territorio sapientemente assemblati da Leonardo, lo chef. Non è semplicissimo trovarlo, ma ne vale veramente la pena! La pasta fatta in casa, il cinghiale ottimo, l'agnello perfetto. E tenete lo spazio per il dolce. La torta di mele da sola vale il viaggio!!!!
12/04/2025: Dopo una visita al castello di Rocca Calascio, di ritorno a l’Aquila, abbiamo prenotato un tavolo a pranzo presso il ristorante VIsconti Kitchen, il cui nominativo era stato trovato dopo una breve ricerca dei locali in zona. E’ stata una vera scoperta, il titolare Leonardo persona fantastica e di una cortesia fuori del comune. Ci ha accolto personalmente e ci ha fatto accomodare in veranda. Dopo averci spiegato la tipologia della propria cucina, ha servito su suo suggerimento, antipasti misti di affettati e formaggi locali corredati da verdure (zucchine e cavolo nero), un bis di primi ( pappardelle al cinghiale e pasta con pomodorini e zafferano). Specifico che la pasta è rigorosamente prodotta in casa e pure gli ortaggi, lo zafferano e il cinghiale cacciato in zona. Passando al secondo ci ha deliziato con una spalla di agnello contorniata da carciofi in tegame e patate. Al termine un bel dolce, una torta di mele e crema chantilly di propria fattura….caffe’, digestivo e tante risate….grazie Leo della meravigliosa giornata passata nel tuo locale…..faremo sicuramente un altro passaggio prima di tornarcene ai nostri paeselli…..Rapporto qualità del cibo / prezzo OTTIMO.
