02/04/2024: Big boat on the banks of the Po with a fixed menu of 35 euros, fish all the time

01/04/2024: I recently visited this restaurant for a Sunday lunch. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rustic and characteristic environment. The menu is fixed and coincides with the one published on the restaurant website (https://www.ilmulinosulpo-ristorante.it/menu/). Coming to the quality of the food, this did not meet my expectations. There are many courses/tastings including starter, 2 first courses and second courses but the quantity definitely comes at the expense of quality. There is the sensation of an industrial preparation, with mediocre raw materials. The end result is that it feels like being in a canteen rather than a restaurant, a circumstance which makes the price (€35 on holidays) not up to what is offered. In conclusion, although the atmosphere and service were impeccable, the cuisine and overall value leave room for significant improvement.
