La location è perfetta per incantare; si entra nel Castello di Montegufoni, sul cucuzzolo nel verde e panoramico sulle colline di Montespertoli. Il menù è ricco di piatti toscani, con attenzione anche ai vegetariani e vegani. Vini delle fattorie dei dintorni. In questo periodo è particolarmente visitato dai turisti, soprattutto quelli ospiti degli appartamenti del Castello. Il servizio attento, veloce e cordiale. Piatti di ingredienti genuini.

But it's not what you would hope for in the pictures, because the apartments or larger accommodations are not in the castle that you see in the pictures. Nevertheless, it is very nice here, but you should take more and more extensive photos so that you know exactly what accommodation you are getting. Otherwise the principle is that you take your own things with you. Towels are only given once at check-in, even though we were there for a week. The same applies to hygiene products such as toilet paper.

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights in the La Capella apartment in May. We came as guests to a destination wedding being held there- and it was a magical experience. So very memorable. I felt like royalty. The castle has high ceilings and Renaissance decor and antiques throughout, but everything also felt very clean and VERY italian. The service was excellent, but keep in mind this is NOT a hotel. The restaurant is only open during certain hours and you should make reservations. The food was incredible. The pool was so beautiful and private in a garden setting. There was a cave like grotto underneath the castle where the dancing reception was held after the wedding, so cool with a DJ, bartender, and lights. This is a wonderful place for a special event or just a romantic getaway. You can book excursions like horseback riding or wine tasting from the castle, but we didn't even feel the need to leave the premises- it was that lovely. Highly recommend. My only advice is to put screens on the windows to keep out the mosquitoes.
