Excelente comida y servicio. Ninguna petición o pregunta fue un problema. Ambiente encantador, así como con la vista en los viñedos. El personal era muy servicial y muy amable.

Atmosfera stupenda, cena in un castello e tra le colline toscane Cena sublime, piatti ben studiati ed equilibrati, con abbinamenti particolari ma ottimi. Personale giovani e molto gentile e attento ai dettagli. Polpette di baccalà ottime e tonno del chianti davvero ben studiati con gli abbinamenti. Cena conclusa con una panna cotta al basilico e gel di fragole davvero buona. Non vedo l'ora di tornarci per provare il resto del menù.

Basic self catering without frills. No toaster. No hairdryer. Old eu power sockets not modern 2 pin. Take the skinny 2 pin adapters and mozzy killers. Lovely views. Restaurant good first night not so good the second. (Stone cold plates) Wedding party excluded us from parts of the castello for 3 days. Bed comfortable. Air con in bedrooms. Kettle fridge and hob, microwave. WiFi good. Apartment 36. A welcome pack would be a bonus. Refused a tiny bit of milk for our arrival to make tea. Told to go to the shop. Quiet place (when no wedding) furniture a little tired and garden looks better on the photos than actual.

Absolutely loved our stay. The castle is so charming and has so much historic character, the views are incredible and the staff so helpful and lovely. We ate at the restaurant most nights during our stay as the food was delicious, we wish it was open for breakfast and lunch as it’s that good. The room we had was large and spacious and we chose a room with air conditioning which was great. As the castle is self catering, there are shops including a co-op 10 minute drive by car to get essentials. We bought our daughter on this trip and the cot was comfortable and had a nice mattress and bedding, the staff also provided a highchair which was great and at a great height for the table which was easy for her to eat. This is our third time staying and loved every moment and will be back again soon.

Trip with a friend, beautiful castle, breathtaking views

Montegufoni Castle is an enchanting place that makes you feel part of history. My room was spacious, well furnished and with a breathtaking view of the Tuscan countryside. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the stay even more enjoyable. An experience that I highly recommend to those seeking relaxation and authenticity.

A breathtaking castle dating back to the year 1400. Full of historical architectural and art murals, statues, and buildings to see. Used to be the grand bishop's of Florence home. The 2nd most important after the Vatican at that time.
