A welcoming and very clean Assisi-style trattoria, with fast and efficient service as always. Excellent food with generous portions. We'll definitely be back.

The trattoria is right in the center and has a very rustic feel. The space is a bit small, but the place is very welcoming! The staff is very kind, professional, and helpful. The dishes are very good; choosing the legume and grain soup was a risky choice given the heat, but it was a great one...it was excellent. The bill was in line with what we ordered and the trattoria's central location. Definitely worth a visit!

The food is very good, excellent, and typical of the area. The only drawback, if any, is that getting there from the basilica requires a long climb, which will certainly build up a hunger pang, but it's well worth it. The manager is very friendly and offers excellent advice...

Just one word: WONDERFUL We ate really well at this trattoria in the heart of Assisi. The typical appetizer was truly plentiful and featured quality cured meats. The first courses were truly excellent; overall, a truly positive experience. The staff was superb! Congratulations! I highly recommend them.

Trattoria Spadini, a sure thing. Trattoria Spadini has become a regular stop for us during our stays in Assisi: Mr. Stefano and his staff always offer a high-quality experience, both in terms of professionalism and hospitality, kindness, and expertise. The restaurant's rustic and welcoming location, in typical Assisi style, is located in the historic center, near the Church of Santa Chiara, accessible only on foot (limited traffic zone). The culinary offering is extensive and fully reflects Umbrian traditions, in the quality of the ingredients used, the pairings and presentation, and the research and passion evident in the explanations of the dishes offered by Mr. Stefano, the owner, and his staff. It's definitely a place to recommend to everyone, with reservations required (the restaurant seats about forty), to savor an interesting and delicious culinary experience of quality, typical Umbrian dishes. In particular, we can't help but mention the antipasti (farmer's, Umbrian delights, torta al testo, etc.), the strangozzi with truffles, the imbrecciata, the sausages with sautéed vegetables, the straccetti with truffles, and the tozzetti with black cherry liqueur; tasty, well-paired, and plentiful dishes. Posto carino, piccolino, ma curato in ogni sua piccola cosa. Personale gentilissimo e super alla mano. Appena arrivati ci hanno subito portato il menù e ti ci hanno spiegato e ce lo hanno spiegato in maniera super dettagliata, aiutandoci a scegliere in base alle nostre esigenze. Cibo fresco e di buona qualità. Il prezzo un pochino superiore alle nostre aspettative.

Assisi è una perla di grande bellezza. Mangiare? “In Umbria si mangia bene dappertutto” vero. Ad Assisi si mangia benissimo alla Trattoria Spadini. Si trova nel centro storico tra la Basilica di Santa Chiara, Piazza del Comune e la Chieda di Santa Maria Maggiore. Scelta per caso con 8 amici, siamo stati accolti benissimo dal titolare e i suoi ragazzi. Disponibili ci hanno aiutato con un bel menù, nella scelta dei vari piatti e prodotti locali. Affettati, formaggi pasta carne, vini, tutto di qualità Soddisfazione in tutti i sensi. Anche il conto! Però è meglio prenotare visto il bel posto. Merita una visita per una giusta pausa, durante la vostra camminata, tra questi vicoli pieni di storia e sacralità. Arrivederci Trattoria Spadini!
