A nice and pleasant restaurant/pizzeria with very good food. I tried the classic Tuscan crostini and the cockerel alla diavola with potatoes, which was very good. The glass of Bolgheri was also excellent. It's a shame it was a little cold, but overall we had a good time.

The place is beautiful with a stunning view of the hills. The food is good but not exceptional. The service is good.
We stopped by last night by chance. Delightful place. Kindness and quality. We'll be back.

I only had a schiacciata filled with soprassata but I can say that the experience was more than positive

A day with friends in Mugello. There are 12 of us, and we've made a reservation at Zocchi, a renowned and highly regarded restaurant in Pratolino. Parking isn't far away; from the entrance, it looks small and unremarkable, but once you enter the spacious foyer, two directions branch off: one to a small room with an enviable fireplace, and the other to a terrace with a breathtaking view (the gardens of Villa Demidoff—request it when you book!). The place is beautiful, though a bit crowded and chaotic. Instrumental lounge music plays in the background, the same old one that had completely exhausted us after an hour. Let's move on to the service (generally a bit slow; at one point, some people just didn't want to sit there anymore). The first thing we said to each other upon our first meeting with the waiter was: this isn't his job, or at least he's only just started it. The appetizer was "zocchi" for everyone (cold cuts and cheeses with crostini), which everyone said looked so-so, but tasted excellent. For me, a vegetarian, they offered a selection of cheeses with crostini and a tartlet, which ended up being cheese with crostini and fried pasta. I was disappointed because the tartlet was out of this world; it seduced me and then abandoned me. For the first course, tortelli mugellani with meat sauce (everyone said they were good, both the tortelli and the sauce, well-made and expertly spiced), and for me, ricotta and spinach ravioli with pumpkin and gorgonzola (too many flavors that didn't thrill me, even though the ingredients were excellent). For the second course, those who chose the pan-fried rabbit made a great choice; others who chose the tripe left it because it was tough and tasted like preserves. I chose beans (good) and fried zucchini flowers (terrible, all batter). The fried artichokes were sold out, as were some desserts, so we jumped straight to the coffee, with a bitter "frate" liqueur, very similar to the Cynar, which I enjoyed. The house wine in bulk was perfect, as was the bill, €40 per person, a bit steep, but that's understandable, even if not everyone ordered a second course. We didn't try the pizzas, but the oven-baked bread was excellent. Would I return? Perhaps to eat on the terrace, but I'm sure there are places in those beautiful hills that are just as good, and perhaps with food that's just as good.

We go there whenever we can, for occasions that are a little special for us, because only one thing is certain here......... it's always a good experience, everything is excellent, from the food first and foremost, but also the service, the atmosphere, and ultimately even the price. Compliments for everything.
