A truly wonderful evening. The food was high-quality, exquisitely prepared, and beautifully presented – perfectly complementing the minimalist, stylish interior.
However, what impressed me most was the service. The waitress who looked after us was exceptionally attentive and professional. One of the pasta courses didn't quite meet our expectations. Without hesitation, she immediately arranged an alternative and brought us a different pasta dish. It was precisely this flexibility and attentiveness that made all the difference.
I also particularly appreciated her helpfulness regarding our plans for the rest of the evening. She even called the club for us to let them know we would be arriving a little earlier. As an added bonus, we were offered a complimentary glass of red wine – a small but very thoughtful gesture.
Many restaurants in Rome offer excellent cuisine. However, what truly makes a restaurant experience outstanding is the exceptional service – the people who anticipate your needs, are attentive, and go the extra mile. That's exactly what we experienced here.

We went to Rome for a rugby match and my husband found this hidden gem, the food was delicious, a very special experience where they made us feel pampered. We had the seven course taster menu, it was well worth it as we got to try a little bit of everything.
If you’re in Rome I highly recommend you treat yourself to an amazing experience

An elegant evening and a culinary experience. Everything was excellent (and obviously expensive).
I think it's suitable for special occasions...I wouldn't go with friends unless I wanted to try something different.

The space is artistic, and the service is always friendly and lovely. The food seems to use a lot of different ingredients, but the flavors tend to be spicy and sweet. The aromas are all quite assertive, and if they could add more emphasis to each dish and each main ingredient, the food would have more impact. It feels more like a starter impact than a lingering aftertaste. The presentation was artistic and beautiful.

A remarkable experience!
I read many reviews before choosing this restaurant. I was looking for a Michelin-starred restaurant in Rome that wasn't overly gourmet or too sophisticated. In short, we wanted to leave feeling full and satisfied.
I must say, the next day, my expectations were completely fulfilled, in fact.
Tasting menu, €130.
The appetizers are sophisticated and not overly comforting: they are curious, unconventional combinations that might even turn up your nose if you have a strict palate, but they will immediately introduce you to the chef's innovative ideas. Ideas that struck me in the linguine with tarragon (a bold and stellar dish for my personal tastes. I had never tried a flavor like it, perfectly balanced with the texture of the pasta and the flavor of the sea) and in the saddle of venison accompanied by a blackberry sauce (forgive my lack of technical knowledge; calling it a sauce is an understatement). These are the dishes that made me soar the most, but the flavor of the broth, the smell of the embers, and the butter that accompanies the bread are equally astonishing. The location is perfect, with little noise and plenty of space between tables.
In short, if you're looking for a restaurant worthy of its star, Zia is the place for you.
P.S. Special mention and thanks to the waiter who, seeing we were still thirsty, brought us more water. Apologizing for not noticing sooner, he didn't include it in the bill.
You see, even from here you can sense the quality of a restaurant :)

An exceptional experience. I went alone and the focus on the food made it even stronger. Every dish was precise, clear, and deeply satisfying, with a level of control that is hard to forget. The progression of the meal felt natural and perfectly paced. Nothing distracted from what was on the plate. It was one of those meals that stays with you long after it’s over. Easily my favorite restaurant in Rome. Truly mind blowing

A restaurant certainly worthy of note, but one would expect more from a Michelin star. The menu offers fairly comforting dishes without any extreme or unusual pairings, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, on the contrary, but one would have expected a flavor worthy of a star, and unfortunately, in my opinion, it doesn't quite deliver in many dishes. The mackerel and ravioli del plin are certainly very good, but it's not enough. I was also disappointed by the non-alcoholic pairing; it really gave me the impression of something they don't believe in, put there only because so many do.

Best food we had in Rome throughout the two times I stayed there. Staff were super accommodating and nice. Also, this is really specific but the music playlist was the best I've heard in a restaurant with traditional garage/dubstep and chill darker electronic music from great artists like Burial.
