Nice restaurant in the center of Modena. It's been on my list of places to try for a while, but I was waiting for the opportunity to go with company. I finally gave in and went alone. The place is well furnished, elegant to the right degree. Non-intrusive service. I wanted to try some mashed potatoes and cotechino meatballs, very good. As well as the first off the menu, lean cannelloni with pumpkin cream. Prices a little higher than average, but in this case I would say commensurate with the quality of the place.

Beautiful atmosphere with very friendly and attentive service. The poached egg and pumpkin risotto are excellent. I didn't really like the "nido" timbale, even though it was the house specialty. Excellent choice of wines. Prices in line with the quality offered. I'll be back.

In the historic center we find this wonderful restaurant next to a characteristic square. Excellent service, top-notch food and excellent quality reign supreme. The well-furnished location and the attention to the customer make it an excellent setting. I highly recommend it.

Tutto ottimo dalla cucina ma i veri tortellini in brodo, semplici, delicati ma con il giusto sapore, sono la ragione x passare da questo ristorante passando da Modena… e anche altro lo merita……. Dolci in testa

Sono anni che frequentiamo questo ristorante e devo dire che non ci delude mai. Servizio ottimo, curato, attento, preciso. Personale educato, puntuale, disponibile. Cucina deliziosa, ricercata, ma anche tradizionale. Ogni volta è sempre un piacere mangiare qui.

Risotteria Dai C'Andam

28/01/2025: A nice surprise in the heart of Modena and on Via Emilia, very close to the Polyclinic. Restaurant also with outdoor garden for eating. Welcoming and friendly staff. The name can be misleading, it has everything, not just rice, I ate very good meat.
22/01/2025: Dai C'Andom is a risotto restaurant that fully met our tastes and our total satisfaction: the risotto with pumpkin, bacon, buffalo mozzarella and pistachio was perfect; equally welcome "the drunk" with Valpolicella. Tasting the oils with a wide selection and accompanied by hot focaccia is also recommended, an excellent way to start (or finish). If we're in the area again, we'll definitely be back!

23/01/2025: Excellent quality raw materials and excellent service, it is not easy to find a restaurant manager who today works with so much passion to express and communicate his products to customers. Very fresh and top quality fish, the plating of the dishes is very good dishes, I recommend!
18/01/2025: Very good, but below expectations For some time I wanted to try Selmi 22, which is widely spoken about very well when you want to eat good fish in Modena; finally two of us went by booking with The Fork (precisely as of now, without any particular discounts). Well: extremely satisfied in terms of welcome, everyone was very nice and kind; the environment is well looked after. Excellent bread, breadsticks and pane carasau immediately arrive at the table. We started with two fish starters: a Selmi 22 (raw and cooked) and a mixed Carpaccio with the addition of tuna tartare. Really excellent! Absolutely fresh fish, carpaccio cut with a knife, nothing to say. So we had two first courses: an Anchovy Pasta and a Paccheri with seafood. Here, frankly, is the surprise: the pasta with anchovies and toasted breadcrumbs was excessively seasoned with tomato sauce, which decidedly alters the traditional Palermo dish (we are Sicilian) that is intended to be proposed, disappointing the expectations of those who probably expect to eat that; the Paccheri allo scoglio, unfortunately, were ruined by the use of clams which were practically all closed, something which honestly has never happened to me and on which I do not intend to make further evaluations. I personally would have been very careful, avoiding bringing closed shellfish to the table. Overall they were not bad, especially in terms of cooking, but certainly of an average level if we consider what has been pointed out above. At that point we opted for two desserts: a pistachio semifreddo with salted caramel and a Catalan flambé. Both turned out to be extremely good, as I have rarely tried them elsewhere! We accompanied everything with a vintage prosecco, definitely worthy. Clearly I am not expressing a negative opinion at all, but I must say that I was not satisfied according to expectations, although only due to the first ones.
