Excellent restaurant for the quality and deliciousness of the dishes, with a brilliant chef! Affordable prices

On the recommendation of a local friend, I had lunch at this bar, which also offers a wide range of takeout options. It offers both express and freshly prepared dishes, with a menu that changes daily. I tried excellent seafood cavatelli and a cutlet with a side of fries, both well-cooked. The atmosphere is very pleasant and tastefully decorated. The only complaint is that service was a bit slow, despite the staff's efforts, which in my opinion were insufficient, and they tried to accommodate the large number of customers with great efficiency. The prices are truly fair, especially considering the offerings.

It's a Bari landmark for enjoying good home-style cuisine; a quick meal in a smart setting, with friendly staff. They feel like family, and they welcome you like one, always with a smile. The prices are affordable for everyone. See you soon.

Thirty years after its opening, I discovered this place thanks to my granddaughter (who generally prefers the sea view). The location in the city, on a small, quiet street, perhaps hides it from a wider clientele. But given the line for takeout and the full tables, I don't think it needs any further fame. We've now tried several takeout specialties, especially fish and vegetable ones, and the quality/price ratio is excellent. The traditional family flavors take us back to the loving care and culinary skills of our mothers and grandmothers. Better late than never, to satisfy a nostalgic desire for good, simple home cooking!

Good food, but it's often confusing when you go to the counter to order, sometimes there's no one behind it. Average/high prices.

The food was excellent; we had a full seafood lunch. The raw fish was incredibly fresh, there was a wide selection of first courses, excellent fried food, and finally, the desserts were delicious. The prices are incredibly reasonable; perhaps one of the few truly honest restaurants in Bari. The interior has a lovely, rustic, and welcoming atmosphere. A small mention also goes to the owner, who was incredibly kind and a wonderful person. I rarely write reviews, but this place deserves it.

It's now my go-to place for lunch when I'm at work. The food is truly excellent, and the portions are generous. I had spaghetti with squid ink and seafood sauce. Delicious. We also had a plate of fried fish and a dessert each, as well as two soft drinks and two bottles of water. We spent less than 40 euros. Top!
