Pizza, pasta, and dessert – everything was delicious! 🍕🍝🍰 The value for money was absolutely spot on, and the service was friendly and attentive. The location is also simply fantastic – it couldn't be better. All in all, a fantastic experience that we highly recommend. 🌟

We are reviewing the restaurant, not the hotel! The servers seemed a bit cold up front but warmed up by the end of it. Maybe they’re used to other American tourists being obnoxious but we were on our best behavior! The food was great as was the house wine. We came here on a recommendation from our Gondola driver!

A perfectly located hotel at an attractive price. The rooms are clean and air-conditioned, and I wouldn't expect anything better at this price. A big plus is the large, renovated bathroom. A downside: the breakfasts are monotonous.

The hotel is located in a very nice spot next to the square. With easy access to the city's attractions. The very positives are the modern bathroom and the quietness in the room. Also, the breakfast is simple but does not leave you unsatisfied and the staff is polite. The big negative is that it does not have an elevator so you have to carry your suitcases maybe up to the 4th floor but also go up every day after so much walking. It also does not have anyone to help with the carrying. Personally, something that disgusted me was that I saw a cook enter the toilet with black kitchen gloves and come out a little later with the gloves again...without having washed his hands. Serious lack of hygiene.

From its location, you might think it's a hyper-touristy place, but Pensione Wildner pleasantly surprised us. We ate very well, with carefully prepared dishes and quality ingredients. The real added value, however, is the owner: exceptionally courteous and friendly, capable of immediately putting you at ease. The friendly service is combined with a simply breathtaking view of St. Mark's Basin, which alone is worth the stop. An address absolutely worth exploring.

Disfrutamos mucho de una cena en este restaurante. Comimos tarde en la noche y el servicio fue excelente. Disfrutamos mucho de nuestra comida y el vino de la casa era bastante bueno. La comida es cara en Venecia y es fácil gastar mucho y conseguir un poco. La calidad de la comida aquí y los sabores justificaban el precio. Los asientos al aire libre ofrecen un ambiente muy agradable.

01/09/2025: Probably best food we had in Venice. Tagliolini al limone was like nothing I have had before. The owner was very friendly and polite, too.
20/08/2025: I went to dinner with my wife. It just so happened that the bar was empty; we were the only diners, which made us suspicious. But we finally ordered and received excellent service. We tried the following: - Fried fish with polenta - Grilled fish with polenta - Grilled vegetables We were tired of pizza, pasta, and risotto, so it was a good choice. The bar has a good variety of fish. The quality is good without being excellent, at least in what we tried. The fried fish was good, although it lacked a bit of flavor. And of the grilled fish, some fish were a little dry, but overall it was good. In terms of quality/price, we went with a discount and it was very good, but with the regular price, I think it was adequate without being cheap or having extraordinary quality.

27/08/2025: A top-notch Venetian home-style culinary experience—little more to say, but more to savor! The service is top-notch. Dogs are welcome.
16/07/2025: The owner seemed nice, but the service wasn't the best and neither was the food. For the starter we had a a plate each which had different kinds of fish and shell fish on. The scallop felt like it had been microwaved and the other bits lacked seasoning. The owners seemed nice, but our waiter I felt was quite intimidating.. standing over us and honestly it felt like we were an inconvenience to be there. The restaurant itself is really nice, but sadly the food wasn't the best and for the price, I'd expect a lot more
