Liked the old vibes of the place. The service is prompt and menu has many options. We took a spaghetti carbonara and liked it, though it would've been better had it been a bit more moist. Stir fried chicory went well with it.

Average. Nothing outstanding. Felt the food needed more flavor. Service was perfunctory and when they asked “did you not like your pasta?” I said no I didn’t think it was good. That’s when any attention to serving our table stopped. Typical passive aggressive expecting every customer to perhaps always say they like what they are served. It’s obviously touristy location attracting some not-so-discerning diners maybe? I Won’t go again in Rome. They won’t miss me , but the feeling is mutual. Be prepared for average.

My favourite place in Rome and my first stop whenever I arrive. Superb food, kind service and great ambiance. Have been coming for a decade and hope to come for a decade more!

Cena durante una trasferta di lavoro. Mi ha convinto il ricco menù proposto. Personale accogliente e professionale. Ho iniziato con un guazzetto di molluschi, davvero eccezionale. In seguito ho preso un filetto danese alla griglia con patate al forno e verdure grigliate. La carne era morbida, saporita e cotta al sangue. Ottimi i contorni serviti caldi. Eventuali richieste fatte al personale servite immediatamente. Il tutto per un conto complessivo di 70€, giustificato dalla qualità dei piatti serviti. Ci ritornerò volentieri.

05/09/2024: Well, the service and atmosphere are great, no complaints there. But I go to restaurants to eat, and their food fell flat. I ordered the spaghetti with clams, and it was an absolute disappointment—completely tasteless. It was like eating plain noodles with zero flavor. The smoked salmon was decent, but honestly, it's pretty hard to mess up smoked salmon. If that's the only thing you can get right, you've got a problem. Overall, the food did not live up to the hype, and I left feeling pretty let down.
