Excellent typical Ascoli food!!!!

Excellent restaurant in the heart of beautiful Ascoli Piceno. Arriving for lunch without a reservation, we couldn't find a seat so we booked a table for dinner. We were really satisfied. The menu features various dishes with truly delicious raw materials. The appetizers are very tasty, from stuffed Ascoli olives to quail eggs with fresh porcini mushrooms to fried porcini mushrooms, to name a few. There are various firsts. We tasted the rigatoni amatriciana and the chitarrina with porcini mushrooms, both delicious and plentiful. You can also ask for the addition of mushrooms but those that are there are usually more than enough. We didn't taste the second courses. We will definitely be back for this. However, we saw some tempting kebabs and steaming meat being served. The trifle with lots of chocolate and sprinkled with rosé anisette is very good. We were also offered two very fragrant glasses of Meletti anisette. The service is welcoming, kind, attentive and attentive. Excellent value for money. Truly highly recommended. We will be back soon to try more. And we're back. All good this time too. The truffle guitar is special. The Ascoli olives with porcini mushrooms are very good. The fried mushrooms are excellent. The trifle is always tasty and the fig loin is delicious. We will return again.

My husband and I ate here on December 31, 2024 for lunch. Everything was excellent, the fried Ascoli sauce was sensational, the tiramisu corrected with nisetta, very good. An extra smile from the waiters and everything would have been perfect. This is not a criticism, just my feeling. Sabrina.

La qualità della materia prima non si discute ma i tempi di attesa sono stati lunghissimi dall’ ordinazione (sono state prese ordinazioni dai tavoli arrivati dopo di noi) all’arrivo dei piatti. Gli antipasti sono arrivati in due momenti separati e abbiamo aspettato oltre un quarto d’ora l’uno dall’ altro. Infine, il locale era freddissimo in uno dei giorni più freddi della settimana. Ci sono delle cose da rivedere, in questo momento non ci tornerei

Very nice environment in the historic center of Ascoli Piceno. Excellent food according to the Ascolan tradition. I recommend it. The Ascoli olives and fried cremini are excellent. The Campofilone maccheroncini are also excellent.
