Prices too high for the cuisine offered

A guarantee. Excellent dishes, just the right portions (neither too little nor too much), welcoming atmosphere, tables in the garden surrounded by greenery, in the evening you can stay cool even in this June 2025. The risotto with blue cheese and pears is exceptional, the rabbit is excellent, the chips are fantastic, extremely aromatic. For a treat not only in terms of food, but also in terms of service. Good wine list, varied menu, spectacular steaks and slices. The only small discordant note: a lady from the reception staff, and sometimes at the tables, addresses all the customers with the informal "tu", even if the customers don't do it. If I may, given the place, the cuisine, the name, I would try to address them informally.

The place is lovely and you can tell the owners care about what they do. The food is average and the service is a bit lacking but it was nice to take a dip into the past in a place that holds so many good memories for me.

Incredibly great service, very stylishly set tables, great ambience, beautifully situated in the mountains, very good food, great wines, owner-managed...all in all simply great!

I was invited to this restaurant by friends from Lucca, I anticipate that I am a Chef but that I review as a customer, without any desire to create controversy (controversy is not a productive thing, never, and even less so in catering). The position where the restaurant is located is not only beautiful... it is enviable: a terrace overlooking the countryside, where the greenery plays with all its shades creating an enchanted atmosphere of other times. The location is equally appreciable: sober Tuscan style, and I allow myself to say that the style of the old country house becomes rural elegance in this context. The cuisine, good, is purely Tuscan, and it is right that it should be so I allow myself to add! I ate with pleasure, as a good Tuscan! The only thing, stating that it is not a criticism but a really friendly advice, I would try to add a pinch of creativity in some dishes, that right touch of innovation that must not distort tradition but rather enhance it. Do I feel like recommending Vipore? Absolutely yes. I hope to return soon, good work to the staff!

Heavenly French fries, if you can make such a simple dish so good, there is nothing else to say. If you go to Lucca, stop by, the food is really good.

Ristorante consigliato! Immerso nel verde, pranzare all'aperto è stato molto piacevole. Personale gentilissimo, cibo buono e in giusta quantità. Alla fine ci è stato applicato anche uno sconto sul conto. Ci ritorneremo, magari di sera per gustare un po' di fresco estivo.

Locatio molto carina , 1 antipasto in 2 tutto ottimo tranne l hummus di ceci, pessimo. Come secondo bistecca ,tenera e gustosa ,pollo al mattone, super!!! Ottime anche le famose patatine fritte!! Un po lento e distratto il servizio, anche se educato e gentile... a mio parere un pelo sbilanciato il rapporto qualità prezzo . Cmq siamo stati bene.
