Ristorante Villa le Palme In Sorrento

I'd give the food a 2.5. It was delicious, but the portions were very, very small. I understand their aim is to offer a tasting menu, but this isn't clearly stated anywhere. We ordered one main course and one dessert per person, and it wasn't enough. I must emphasize the chef's care in presenting the dishes and the very kind service from the gentleman who served us.

It's a shame you don't know about this great restaurant because it's a bit far from the city center. First of all, the service is excellent, and the food is also superb. I highly recommend it! It was even better than the D'Auste T-bone steak I had in Florence. It's a bit far, but if you make a reservation, they offer pick-up and drop-off service. It's the best! For the price, I received a great deal! Thank you for the great experience, delicious food, and great service.

The promise is high. The ratings are high. The meat is top-notch. The service is very professional. Unfortunately, I was shocked to discover that the chef doesn't know how to cook a steak. I watched in horror as he took a perfectly aged T-bone steak out of the oven, sliced ​​it immediately without letting it rest, and proudly served it to me. Connoisseurs will recognize the mistake. Aside from this significant detail, I'm not particularly concerned with appearances and design. The bread wasn't very good, and the appetizers, consisting of chips and olives on a wheel, were rather dull. But others will surely appreciate it.

Very well known bistro, however didn’t check my boxes. I was hoping for a quaint charming restaurant, it wasn’t. On the other hand, apparently it serves great steaks, wagyu etc, unfortunately ours turned out not so good. Service was super.

We enjoyed the Special Tasting Menu and Wine Pairing during our trip at Bistro Sorrento. We utilized the complimentary shuttle from our hotel in Sorrento city center. The staff was amazing and portions generous. One of the highlights of our trip!

The food, the service, the hospitality. All amazing. We had the pleasure of meeting Pasquale who made sure we were well taken care of. Highly recommend this place for the beef carpaccio and the steak. Medium Rare is very rare in Italy so make sure you check out how Italians cook their steaks. It’s not the same as the states and that error was on me. I am versed now! I will come back! Yum!

What a hidden gem in Sorrento! The food, the service and everything was amazing. Pasquale, the owner made our experience unforgettable during our diner/birthday celebration with my wife. Not to be missed if you're visiting Sorrento.
