Came here for my 26th birthday and enjoyed the tasting menu on the terrace. The view and sunset was an incredible experience, we chose the land menu and were blown away by every dish. The staff were so kind, Christiana helped my boyfriend with a few birthday surprises and our waiter Ciro who talked us through every dish. Unforgettable night and a must visit when in Sorrento.

The restaurant is very elegant, with great food and wonderful service! A little bit expensive but an amazing experience. The bar on the rooftopbar is excellent, with great prices sand service. I really recommend this place!

If you’re planning dinner at Vesuvio Restaurant at the Hotel Mediterraneo in Sorrento, it’s well worth arriving early. Start with a cocktail on the sky-view rooftop terrace, where the panorama opens over Sorrento with a spectacular view of Mount Vesuvius—an unforgettable setting as the light begins to soften. Dinner itself is a true culinary experience. The chefs offer refined, personal interpretations of regional dishes, each one original in both flavour and presentation. The wine pairing is excellent, focusing on regional labels, and elevated further by a knowledgeable and charming sommelier who guides the experience with ease and warmth. And do not skip dessert—the chocolate and orange creation is simply exceptional. An evening that balances atmosphere, creativity, and impeccable taste.

Everything was amazing! The food was beyond delicious, the service impeccable and the views were breathtaking! Our sommelier Olimpia in particular was brilliant. She was so knowledgeable, friendly and answered all of our questions. We chose the tasting menu with local wines and it was the best food we had our entire holiday.

We stayed in the hotel and for the first night opted for dinner in their Vesuvio restaurant and it was one of the best decisions we made! We took Surprise menu with wine pairing and both were beyond amazing! Each course was truly incredible - each dish was very well presented, providing for wholesome and appealing visual, smell and taste experience. Wine pairing was also one of the best ones we've had - the sommelier made a great choice of local wineries following and elevating each dish while providing clear and interesting explanation of each wine. We even came back for Easter lunch which was also incredible! The service was impeccable and we spent a wonderful time there. Last but not least, the 360 sea and Vesuvio mountain views are breathtaking! That being said, our special thanks go to chef Nicola Celeftano for such an amazing tastebuds travel, the sommelier, Mr Salvatore who took care of us and made us feel at home and to the entire staff as well. The restaurant is definately a must try while in Sorrento!

Such a beautiful experience! My fiancé proposed this morning and we spent our evening with this wonderful restaurant. We enjoyed the seafood tasting menu and Olympia was so helpful with the wine tasting. We were so happy to spend our night here!

I had the most unforgettable experience at this restaurant, where I successfully proposed to my partner. I cannot thank the restaurant manager, Salvatore Iaccarino, and the entire staff enough for their exceptional care and attention to detail. From the beautiful flower arrangements and the exquisite food to the perfect atmosphere and music—everything was beyond my expectations. To me, the quality of the food and the level of hospitality were undoubtedly 3 Michelin stars. I truly felt that every single staff member was dedicated to making our evening perfect. It was, without a doubt, the best proposal I could have ever imagined. I am already looking forward to the day I can return here with my future child to say, 'This is where I proposed to your mother.' To the entire team: thank you for creating such a magical memory that I will cherish for the rest of my life. May you all be blessed by God and stay healthy. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
