I hadn't been to this restaurant for years, I used to come with my grandparents.
I was a little afraid of choosing to go back on Easter Monday, a day of celebration during which it is easy to slip up and get the service wrong.
Instead we had a very good time, a good quality à la carte menu and excellent, very friendly service.
For some courses we waited a little longer, but not too long, on a holiday day with a full restaurant and an à la carte menu that was absolutely more than acceptable. We will definitely be back.

I must say that I did not use the Hotel, so I cannot comment on that.
I did use the restaurant, however, which was good on some things and very good on others. The service is a bit slow but if you are in company, you can chat more while waiting. The location is very beautiful both inside and out.

Recensione limitata in quanto abbiamo preso soltanto un piatto, trattandosi di un pranzo veloce. Il locale è di un'eleganza classica, il servizio è professionale. La cucina, per quello che abbiamo provato, di buon livello.

Very nice hotel, with excellent cuisine. The location is very nice (near the lake, with some rooms with a view).
The staff was very kind, and the prices were consistent with the quality.

Hotel restaurant located on the shore of Lake Varese. I used the catering service one Sunday midday to meet up with old friends. A large car park is available 100 meters away. The dining room is very large, well furnished with a varied menu, waiting times are not short but everything is well looked after. Nothing to complain about the taste. Prices not low but reasonable.

Posto carino,ma eccessivamente elegante l'apparecchiatura rispetto all'architettura della sala.
Il cibo è abbondante, ma vale la pena mangiare solo qualche primo, secondi non sono un granché. Le materie prime, da sempre, non sono eccellenti, quindi non troppo saporite.
Dolci mediocri.
In inverno la sala è molto fredda.
