Passing through Gorgonzola, we were looking for a small restaurant where we could appreciate the typical cheese. La Vecchia Pesa has an interesting menu and perfect dishes (from homemade pasta, to spaghetti from the Marche company Mancini, a very appreciated fellow countryman of ours, to medallions with Gorgonzola, all delicious). We appreciated the friendly courtesy of both managers.

The appetizers and first courses were truly exquisite, the basil ice cream was especially good. The fish was excellent quality. The wait staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. We will be back soon! 🤩

Excellent restaurant in the town of Gorgonzola, first-rate menu with high-quality, carefully prepared dishes. Special mention for the black rice timbale with Gorgonzola fondue and the sirloin steak always with the king of local cheeses. Generous portions and the right price. Really friendly and professional service, complete wine list. Highly recommended

Per gli amanti del gorgonzola, consiglio vivamente il ristorante la vecchia pesa! Piatti davvero deliziosi, posto curato, con ottimi prezzi! Consigliatissima la degustazione dei formaggi erborinati, torneremo volentieri!

13/09/2025: It is perhaps one of those shops where you will find locals eating and not tourists, which personally for me is something very good, the atmosphere reminds you of another, more romantic era, the staff is really kind, the only minus is the portions, which as I understood in the following days is something common in all their shops, they are small and certainly not proportional to the money you pay, but again as I said, in the end it is something common that all the restaurants have, at least in the city center.
