Ristorante Valle del Giovenco In Pescina

11/10/2025: I visited this restaurant a while ago and had a pleasant experience. The atmosphere is welcoming and mountainous, although a bit noisy when the place is fully booked. We made a reservation because in high season or on weekends, it's otherwise impossible to find a table. The staff was very welcoming, and the service was prompt. I tried a truly exceptional first course: pasta with artichoke cream, crispy speck, and shaved provolone del Monaco. The prices are in the medium-high range.

11/10/2025: We're on a stop between Caserta and Pescara. Lunchtime, and we stop here. There was no one in the restaurant. After half an hour, three people arrived. The very kind owner welcomed us and showed us to the veranda. The cuisine was simple but tasty. Perhaps I expected the wild boar entree to have a slightly stronger flavor. It was good, but I would have preferred it to be more robust. I'd go back.
