We stopped here for lunch on the way to our house in Le Marche. There was still room on a Sunday afternoon. It was pleasantly busy. Plenty of parking. Very friendly service. They explained the day's menu at the table. The crepe and pasta were sublime, the meat and side dishes were good, and the desserts were also very tasty.

Trattoria, osteria, bar, and tobacconist just outside Castel San Pietro (in the Poggio area). A family-friendly atmosphere and authentic traditional Bolognese cuisine. A long-established establishment boasting over fifty years of tradition. Strengths: excellent food and a warm welcome (aside from the very friendly and professional staff, the most memorable aspect is the owner's punctual approach, sitting down at the table to take orders and guide guests in their choice of dishes). Decidedly reasonable prices.

Stumbled upon it by chance. The tortellini in broth, gnocchi with ragù, and tripe were delicious. Very fast service, friendly and helpful waiters. Excellent value for money. Already a favorite for my next trip to Bologna.

I was there on December 26th. Everything was delicious, with excellent service and an à la carte menu, even during the holidays. Highly recommended.

11/12/2025: I really liked this ice cream. I just came from Florence and have tried the creme alla Florence then want to this place and had creme alla Bologna. Bologna won this dispute.
29/11/2025: Super delicious fresh cannoli, made on site, and reasonably priced. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

13/03/2026: The menu is too rambling. The friggione is just tomato, and I find it unacceptable that if you order a salad, it has to be freshly opened from the bag. The tagliatelle with Pievese sauce is good. The service staff are very friendly.
22/02/2026: We just had a quick dinner, but it's definitely recommended. The dishes were also carefully presented. Well done.
