I've been coming to Lake Iseo for 65 years now, and I have to say I've never had such good food in Italy. My only recent criticism is that I haven't been there years earlier.

After a while, I returned to this restaurant for a business lunch and, as always, I had a great time. The welcome was excellent. The food was good, varied, and the service was pleasant and friendly.

Ristorante situato in un posto bellissimo a Zone, sopra il lago di Iseo, vicino alle piramidi. Mangiamo all'interno, locale stile anni '80, con juke box, biliardino. Siamo in 4 e prendiamo un trittico di primi, sporzionati al momento, tutti e 3 molto buoni. Due grigliate miste di carne, contorni vari, 2 litri di vino, 2 dolci, 1 caffè, 1 grappa. Prezzo incredibile: solo 83 euro Consigliato per un'ottima cena economica e tradizionale.

Villa Calini in Franciacorta

30/10/2025: Beautiful, elegant, and classy. The only downside is some rude customers who throw tissues and other things into the vineyards outside the gate, among the glasses and cigarette butts. The place is nothing to write home about. Remember, being a customer doesn't mean doing whatever you want in someone else's home.
26/10/2025: Stunning villa, run by fantastic people!!! Every time I've come to photograph weddings, I've always been treated like a king!!! Super-classy cuisine
