Nice, clean place and friendly staff who were perhaps a little absent at times. Fine dishes and excellent raw materials.

A contrasting experience, we had dinner with friends, excellent food with fresh fish and well-matched flavours, excellent tuna tartare, or breaded prawns and marinated anchovies, well-made fried fish, delicious first course with cod, a little less the desserts and disappointment with the sorbets that were finished. Cozy location with a design in modern colors in a rustic style, the tables are large and welcoming, there is ample space for the dishes. It has a nice outdoor terrace which should certainly be very welcoming in summer. A very negative note is the room which is very noisy, all the voices from the tables resonate badly, causing a big noise, to talk to each other we had to shout, TERRIBLE. The service was of little attention, they welcomed us well but after ordering we had to wait at least 20 minutes for water and bread (a very small basket without breadsticks or bread of various kinds, but only normal, good bread) and at least 50 minutes to start tasting the appetizer. It's a shame because the restaurant could be worth 5 stars. I gave 4 stars to encourage the owners to improve the 2 points, attention to the customer while waiting and noise in the room.

Very nice restaurant. We didn’t have reservations, but they were able to sit us although it was crowded. Food was very good as was the service. Highly recommend. The only downside was the noise level. Restaurant has a lot of hard surfaces and they get very crowded so the noise level gets very loud. Other than that would visit again.

I went with my husband for an anniversary dinner, everything was perfect, but the portions were a bit small.

Restaurant located on the hills of Florence, excellent summer location

For our 25th wedding anniversary, my brothers-in-law gave us dinner at Tuga and their choice turned out to be a great one. Excellent location with pleasant ventilation (which, for August 3rd in Florence, is a must). Lots of choice of starters, first and second courses. Speedy service. The owner and staff are very friendly. We will return again to taste other delicacies. Filippo and Donatella

A dieci minuti da Firenze sud, se vuoi trovare un po’ di fresco e mangiare dei piatti di pesce eccezionali, la tuga è il posto perfetto. Ci siamo stati sia in coppia che con i bimbi ed è sempre una garanzia. La proprietaria è gentilissima insieme a sua figlia e a tutto il personale. Piatti ricercati e semplici allo stesso tempo! Bravi bravi bravi!
