Great time, very helpful and friendly staff. They speak Italian and English, one of them even spoke French! And we all ate very well! The place is ideal for a little romantic or family time.

From waiter to customer, I finished my working season and after 7 months I spent an evening as a customer and for good reason I praised the dishes, giving them some good and some bad reviews, but I tried them myself and they are amazing. Not to mention the staff, my colleagues and friends, creating a harmonious atmosphere thanks to the owners Roby and Gaia, who are wonderful people who have managed to be friends and employers at the right time and in the right way. We dined with The Fork in a wonderful outdoor location in August, but we weren't able to review it directly on the The Fork app. The staff was incredibly friendly, and we really enjoyed chatting with the owner, who was eager to get to know us and tell us that he's moved from the north to charming Tropea. We ate well and also enjoyed the huge portions of local onions.

We've been to the Tropea Vecchia restaurant for both lunch and dinner. The food is always good, and the service is excellent. It's located in a charming little square called Largo Barbone. We highly recommend it!

Siamo stati al ristorante Tropea Vecchia durante una serata d'estate, e non possiamo che parlarne benissimo! L’atmosfera è autentica e accogliente, con un tocco rustico che rispecchia il vero spirito calabrese. Il proprietario, Eugenio, ci ha accolti con grande calore e professionalità: la sua passione per la cucina e l’ospitalità si percepisce in ogni dettaglio. È raro incontrare persone così attente e genuine. Il menù propone piatti della tradizione locale preparati con ingredienti freschissimi. Consigliatissimo il pesce spada alla griglia e la 'nduja fatta in casa: sapori intensi ma equilibrati, che raccontano la storia di questa terra. Anche i dolci meritano una menzione speciale, in particolare il tiramisù fatto da loro. Servizio rapido, cortese e mai invadente. Prezzi onesti per la qualità offerta. In sintesi: un posto dove si mangia benissimo e ci si sente a casa. Torneremo sicuramente, grazie Eugenio per aver reso la nostra serata così speciale!
