Spectacular, the pasta was incredible. You could find cardinals eating there, and it was one of Pope Francis' favorite places. The pasta carbonara was fantastic.

The pasta and risotto were really excellent! Friendly staff and really great atmosphere! I recommend it to you! 5 minutes from Place St-Pierre! ☺️

We loved the restaurant, food of 10, the carbonara traditional and very tasty. Also, while we were eating, my partner and I came on television to interview the owner because apparently it was Pope Francis' favorite restaurant. A complete success.

Bonne cuisine mais service exécrable !! Restaurant derrière le Vatican recommandé par le cartoguide de Rome. Ils nous ont porté des plats différents de ceux commandés, nous n'avons rien dit...nous voulions de l'eau du robinet, réponse du serveur : impossible Ils n'ont porté aucun parmesan pour les pâtes et la salade verte n'a eu aucun assaisonnement, j'ai été obligé de leur demander ce qui les a apparemment agacés ! A éviter il y a d'autres restaurants à Rome

Cuando estábamos en Roma, mi familia y yo somos de Portugal y decidimos comer en un restaurante portugués porque nos perdimos Natas, una especialidad portuguesa. En este restaurante, los Natas estaban deliciosos.

10/05/2025: A peaceful corner in the greenery just a few minutes from Rome! At the Osteria del Malpasso I had lunch outdoors, under large umbrellas and surrounded by nature: a truly splendid location, ideal for relaxing and enjoying the typical cuisine in a serene atmosphere. I tasted a very tender spicy lamb stew, accompanied by baked potatoes that were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, really well done. To conclude, a homemade sour cherry tart, with an authentic and delicate flavour. Friendly service, traditional Roman dishes and a welcoming environment. I recommend this tavern to those looking for a restaurant with Roman cuisine and outdoor tables surrounded by greenery in southern Rome. I will definitely be back!

14/05/2025: Returned after 30 years I find the same pleasant restaurant, good fried food and pizzas, average price, comfortable internal environment
12/04/2025: I love this pizzeria, low and crunchy Roman pizza, excellent first courses and fried artichokes too. Very friendly dining room staff.
