Very good restaurant in Rome, for those looking for Portuguese but also Italian food. Good atmosphere, friendliness and good food preparation. I recommend the visit.

my meal was great, especially the greens, beautiful olive oil, garlic, & seasonings until I found a blue rubber band in my perfectly grilled octopus. ☹️ Are you kidding me? The waiter took my plate away and brought it back without the rubber band. Oh man, so disappointed.

Lovely place near the Vatican - I tried to avoid at all costs the tourist traps in the surrounding areas of the vatican and found (google helping me...) this little italian/portuguese restaurant. the food is great but overall the service and ambiance were phenomenal.

The restaurant has a very large Italian menu, which struck me as odd at first, but then I noticed there were several Portuguese dishes as well. We ordered two appetizers, main courses, and desserts. The portions are quite large, so be careful with the appetizers. I ordered a piri-piri chicken to avoid the usual "cod with potatoes" option. I was pleasantly surprised by the seasoning of the chicken, which is somewhat uncommon in the typically bland Roman cuisine. Although flavorful, the meat was tough, and the chicken had many parts that could have been trimmed to improve its texture. The rice was well-seasoned, and the potatoes were crispy. We had a bottle of wine, and the bill came to around 90 euros. I found it a bit expensive for the type of food, but overall, it was fine.
