Ristorante Trattoria La Salinera In Grinzane cavour

I had chosen this restaurant based on the photos and reviews I had seen, even the prices were different. Unfortunately we didn't find the dishes we had seen, the prices were all higher, first courses around €11, second courses €15. Unfortunately the portions are very small, the food is tasty and worth it, from my point of view the quantity/price ratio is unbalanced. The appetizer with omelettes and parmesan fondue was good, as were the buckwheat crepes, excellent. Fabulous desserts €5 each. The hazelnut brick is fantastic. House red wine in bulk recommended. The bathroom is clean, the dining room is a little too cold both in terms of look and temperature. Very harsh staff, almost throwing plates, we didn't feel welcomed at all. I can't wait to go back and find it improved.

Excellent service, very fast. Excellent wine list. Very good food, ravioli a little under seasoned. Overall good.

Restaurant with typical Piedmontese cuisine, breathtaking views of both the castle and the Langhe. Delicious and plentiful dishes, friendly and fast service.

Excellent, friendly and quality food

A typical restaurant, with some variations on the theme. I'm sorry to give only 3 stars being in my native country, but the dishes are not adequate for the value of the bill. The "taiarin" with ragù and the peppers with bagna cauda are excellent, while the Arneis stew, in my opinion, doesn't make much sense in Barolo territory. Desserts don't inspire. The owners are very kind and the service is impeccable, but the food could be done better.

The starters were very good (veal with tuna delicious and the pumpkin soufflé also excellent). The tajarin are good, but I would have preferred a little more ragù (like the good southerner I am 🤣). However, everything was very good, even the desserts. Very competitive quality/price ratio. Top quality ingredients and homemade dishes. I will definitely come back.

In zona Langhe per visitare la fiera del tartufo,abbiamo fatto tappa in questo ristorante per il pranzo del sabato. Io ho preso due antipasti (tomini freschi con radicchio,noci e cipolle caramellate e peperoni abbrustoliti con bagna cauda)e come primo lasagne alle verdure mentre il mio compagno ha scelto anche lui i peperoni con la bagna cauda e uno sformatino di verdure come antipasto e i tajarin al ragù come primo. Un calice di Dolcetto per me,uno di Dolcetto e uno di Barbera per lui,acqua e un caffè. Tutto molto buono. Servizio perfetto e personale gentile. Prezzi in linea con gli altri ristoranti della zona. Sono langarolo da generazioni e mi sanguina il cuore dare sufficienze non piene a locali del territorio che, diciamo così, hanno swicthiato su un trend turistico e non sempre rispettoso delle tradizioni. Questo locale si è’ salvato grazie alla dedizione dei camerieri che, avvisati del fatto che avevamo una grande premura, si sono fatti in 4 per servirci il menu degustazione in mezz’ora. Parlando di portate il menu prevedeva un assaggio di 5 antipasti: un “coso” (non saprei come definirlo differentemente) con dentro 3 ceci e 2 fagioli) scarso di gusto e di appeal. c’era un tortino poi con sopra una fonduta mediamente saporita che mi e’ arrivata un po’ fredda e quindi difficile da gustare appieno. E ora parliamo di piemontesita: -insalata russa poco saporita con tante verdure (soprattutto patate), poco tonno e poca salsa -insalata di carne cruda (che ora chiamano battuta di fassona) con poco o zero olio, zero sale, zero aglio (il limone che metteva mia nonna non lo reputo necessario) accompagnata da un cucchiaino di bagnet verde che e’ una salsa per bolliti e non e’ da abbinare alla carne cruda. - vitello tonnato buono e a giusta cottura accompagnato, anziché con salsa tonnata come tradizione vuole, da maionese industriale della quale potrei persino indovinarne la marca, avendola usata a condire l’insalata per anni quando lavoravo in nord-europa. Non si deve fare!! -tajarin buoni peccato perché avanti di cottura, ragù eccellente, parmigiano o grana che fosse buono e fresco anche se non grattato sul momento. -stracotto sufficiente accompagnato da poche carote ma buone accompagnate dal semolino (frittura dus-sa) eccellente. Buono anche il tris di dolci. Il prezzo è’ onesto la piemontesita’ che speravo di trovare, mi ha molto deluso. Ottimo il caffè.
