A truly wonderful experience, which came about by chance at a very difficult time for my family. Beyond the exquisite dishes and wines, we were struck by the human sensitivity of the Chef and his staff, who made us feel pampered and at home. A unique place, highly recommended. There are people with heart and love, and Chef Andrea and his entire staff are a tangible example of this. Thank you all.

A truly sensational lunch, starting with excellent cured meats, special mention for the salami and the Pata Negra prosciutto, truly delicious. The small crescentine slices were clever.
I ate a truly devastating venison cheek, tender and flavorful, and not at all tangy.

What can I say? It truly left its mark. A restaurant that is a complete extension of its chef's art and vision. I felt completely embraced by his approach, his restaurant, and his dishes. You can't miss his ragù and his venison cheek (if available), the two that undoubtedly left the biggest impression. The ragù, made the way farmers used to make it, with "noble scraps" and in white sauce, is sublime. The cheek defied all logic; I will never eat anything like it again.

I'll start by saying I haven't been to the restaurant yet, but given their behavior, they deserve a review. I'll update it once I do.
I contacted the restaurant for Valentine's Day dinner, but since they were closed for vacation, I left a request via WhatsApp. The next day, chef Andrea Funi responded personally, asking when he could call me. Once he called, I discovered that he was on vacation but would still take care of these things. After explaining in detail why they chose a special menu for Valentine's Day dinner, he pointed out some differences from other days and forwarded me the menu via WhatsApp. We'd then decided for a good few days, perhaps four or five, to consider whether it would be suitable for our needs as an alternative to the à la carte menu. If the restaurant's availability and kindness are commensurate with what it offers, it will certainly be a positive experience. It's commendable that the chef takes the time to explain everything to guests, something I've never seen before.

A lovely authentic experience!
Tasty seasonal menu, warm chef and very professional service team. We also got to greet the kitchen team at the end. It’s worth a visit even if you come from a distant place, it’s definitely worth the long drive. Would love to return if I could. Thank you Chef Andrea Funi and your staff 🙏👏🏼

There are places that don't need special effects to be remembered. Here I found sincere cuisine made with respect for the raw ingredients and a sure hand. Balanced dishes without being forced, just the right portions, clean flavors, and a rare feeling of being at ease at the table from start to finish. Attentive service, a refined atmosphere without ostentation, and above all, a great coherence between what arrives on the plate and the soul of those who experience this place every day. Authentic gastronomic experience and extraordinary hospitality
We had lunch at this upscale trattoria near Sasso Marconi as a group of six adults and four children, and the experience was simply excellent in every way.
Chef Andrea Funi welcomed us with rare warmth and passion: he took the time to explain each dish, its origins, and the local products used, guiding us on a true gastronomic journey rooted in local traditions. This attention and care for the guest truly makes the difference and makes you feel immediately at home.
The dishes were all top-notch. The Bolognese ragù and the traditional ragù are simply exceptional, intense, balanced, and deeply rooted in tradition. The fresh, handmade pasta is truly outstanding, both in texture and flavor. The veal was also excellent, tender and flavorful, as was the roast horse beef, truly delicious and perfectly cooked.
We started with appetizers of cured meats, mozzarella, and other items recommended by the chef, all of which were of excellent quality. The desserts also rounded out the meal excellently.
Special mention goes to the children's dishes: they're not "second-rate" dishes, but carefully prepared and truly exceptional, much appreciated by even the littlest ones.
A trattoria that combines tradition, exceptional quality, and a sincere and authentic welcome. We'll definitely be back and recommend it without hesitation.
