So when you want to eat typical dishes from the area you have to go to a place that deserves it with excellent food and the right atmosphere and Da Nello is THE right place. And 10 stars to the owner who, with her prickly character on the outside but soft on the inside, made us spend a wonderful, fun and carefree evening. We look forward to your book :)

Good Valtellina cuisine. Get pizzoccheri (one of the best IMO all over Valtellina) and sciatt (very good also)

Usual Valtellina place, excellent food, ate sciat pizzoccheri and roast beff, fabulous, the best I've ever eaten so far. Closing with an excellent braulio sorbet. Very friendly, polite and helpful staff. Average price for the place. I'll go back again as soon as I can

The service is fast and attentive, without being intrusive. ‍ Da Nello is a restaurant that I highly recommend to all those who want to taste true Valtellina cuisine. Exactly what you expect from a trattoria: good food, simple and welcoming environment, excellent prices. Very popular even on weekdays, it is preferable to book.

Non è la prima volta che veniamo a cena in questa storica trattoria, insolitamente collocata al primo piano di un fabbricato interno ad una corte. Il secondo piano si può immaginare che ospiti le camere dell'albergo, tema non attinente a questa recensione, che intende focalizzarsi solo sulla parte culinaria. C'è veramente poco da dire: in un grande e chiassoso salone con arredi e finiture dei vecchi tempi (sedie e tavoli in legno, boiserie alle pareti, camino, sci, attrezzi e teste di cacciagione imbalsamate sulle pareti) si possono assaporare tutte le più tipiche pietanze della cucina valtellinese in una delle versioni più gustose che esistano al mondo. Dagli affettati ai pizzoccheri, passando per gli imperdibili sciatt, accompagnati da uno dei tipici vini locali, è impossibile sbagliarsi: se ne esce sempre molto soddisfatti e spendendo il giusto. Andare a far visita ai parenti è anche un ottimo pretesto per farsi una passeggiata nell'ammirevole e prestigioso centro storico di Ponte e tornare a mangiare qui.

Siamo venuti in questo ristorante consigliati da un amico. Ottima esperienza. Il locale è una vecchia trattoria frequentata da turisti ma anche molto da gente del posto. Abbiamo preso un piatto di sciatt con gli affettati ed i pizzoccheri. Poi sorbetto al Braulio. Posso dire con assoluta certezza di aver mangiato i pizzoccheri più buoni della mia vita! Ottima esperienza. Alcune recensioni parlavano della ragazza non molto cortese, assolutamente non vero! Molto simpatica ed attenta. La cucina è fatta tutta al momento quindi i consigli che vengono dati non devono essere presi come Osservazioni ma semplicemente come il miglior modo di assaggiare i piatti. Estremamente consigliato
