We literally stumbled on this gem as finding a carpark in Martina Franca is like finding a needle in a haystack and when we did I used this platform to check where we could eat nearby and this came up.
Wow. We must have a guardian angel!
Very rarely does everything come together as beautifully as it does here.
The team are welcoming, the wine list is vast - and the recommended wine was both delicious and a bargain.
As for the food…
If you are in the area - don’t hesitate, just book.
Angela Pagano has a light and deft touch with her ingredients that you rarely find.
I could go into detail, but trust me, you will have a superb meal. Grazie!

Una recomendación de nuestra Masseria. Llegamos poco después de su apertura, y la señora que nos recibió resultó ser el chef. El menú es conciso, estoy seguro que cambia regularmente, pero fue muy difícil elegir. No te preocupes, todo era excelente - fue la mejor comida que tuvimos durante nuestra semana en Apulia. Hicimos los 3 platos y una copa de vino encantadora y todos eran excelentes. Para el restaurante 5o clasificado en MF era bastante tranquilo, se sentía como una joya escondida, tal vez porque no está en el centro histórico principal, solo en las afueras de eso. El estacionamiento en la calle era bastante complicado, incluso para una época del año no ocupada, así que quizás pruebe uno de los estacionamientos.

Intimate and welcoming environment, with attention to every aspect. The menu is not long and dispersive, few dishes but well prepared.
However, perhaps I would have liked some local dishes (tortelli in broth or saffron rice or arancini are not really Apulian).

Casi cerrando nuestro increíble recorrido por la Puglia, fuimos especialmente a Martina Franca con una reserva en este bellísimo restaurante, por recomendación de un gran amigo.
La ciudad es magnífica, todo impecable y después de un extenso paseo, terminamos el día en la Torre di Angelucco.
Alessandro, con gran cordialidad, nos dio la bienvenida, nos hizo un pequeño relato de la historia del restó, nos recomendó el vino a tomar y nos orientó acerca de los platos. Hicimos caso a ello y de la mano de la chef Angela Pagano realmente vivimos una experiencia increíble, a pleno disfrute.
Si bien está fuera del circuito estrictamente céntrico, vale más que la pena caminar unas cuadras y disfrutar de una comida pugliese de excelencia.
