Ristorante Tipico "El Tobià" In Vigo di fassa

We had dinner at this restaurant on 08/10/2025. It was magnificent! The food was fabulous - it was hard to decide what to have as everything sounded delicious. What we chose was absolutely delicious. The service staff were amazing. They interacted with us, checking on how the meal was and they were genuinely interested in us. They wore traditional Tirolian clothing which added to the experience. They spoke three languages as well - Italian, German and English, which excited me to speak to them in my basic German and Italian. They were so lovely. And I must not forget the physical setting - wow!! What a beautiful Tirolian atmosphere - gorgeous timber work everywhere. I cannot say enough about how wonderful this place was. I've been to the restaurant twice. Excellent value for money: both times, excellent food and fast service. I'll be back.

Very friendly restaurant with a truly friendly and dedicated staff. Everything is geared toward the typical restaurant experience (you either like it or not), but the two young people present take excellent care of the customers without being overbearing, even though the service was approaching its end. (Late arrival) We had a local menu; we ordered ploenta and funghi + polenta salsicia. The portions were sufficient for us, but for a big eater, it might be a bit light (compared to the price of +/- €17), which is the price to pay for the typical dishes. In any case, a beautiful location, friendly staff, and well-prepared dishes.

Amazing dinner. We attended as a large group and they kindly squished us in but it was very busy so would recommend booking if possible. The food was very authentic. A great variety of choice. As a group we got through a big selection and everything was outstanding. The meat was all delicious. The food was plentiful and the special desert to die for. Can’t recommend enough if in the area.

In my opinion, the best restaurant in the area. An incredible dinner, truly delicious! The manager who welcomed us was extremely knowledgeable, kind, and excellent at his job! Kudos to the entire staff! See you soon!
