Ristorante "Tenuta le difense" In Peschici

The place is truly beautiful, with a splendid view of the sea... but the main strengths are the welcome, the courtesy, and the food. Everything is truly delicious, including the pizzas, but what won me over was the linguine with shrimp and citrus pesto... exceptional!!! A special shout-out to the owners, who are always there and very attentive, and to all the staff: the waiter Antonio and the pizza chef Davide are impeccable and incredibly courteous.

A very pleasant location, immersed in nature, especially on warm summer evenings when you can dine under the trees. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive to guests' needs. The food could be improved. The pizza and the peppered mussels were good. The baked fish preparation left a little to be desired. Overall, however, the overall impression is positive, and we will definitely return to this estate for dinner.

We've dined at this restaurant twice. For quality and price, I'd say it's above average for summer restaurants. The menu is meager and could use some expansion, the table service is average, and the staff dress code could use some revision. It's a shame, because the location deserves much better.

A very pleasant surprise!! Beautiful location among the olive trees with a sea view. Excellent food, freshly prepared with just the right amount of time. Thanks to Davide, who was very kind.

We went without a reservation shortly after the restaurant opened, and luckily we got the last table for two, as everything was booked for that evening. The place is very cute, and you can see the sea in the distance. In our case, the service was quick and the staff friendly. We had two appetizers and two first courses, each accompanied by a bottle of wine: grilled caciocavallo cheese, stuffed mussels, linguine with citrus pesto and shrimp, and troccoli allo scoglio. All the dishes were delicious and, I'd say, generous—truly excellent. I would gladly return.

We had a wonderful evening! The atmosphere is very welcoming, as is the staff. All the dishes were tasty and well-prepared. The staff were very friendly and smiling, and the atmosphere was also accompanied by delightful live music. We will definitely be back.

The restaurant is located on a hill with a breathtaking sea view. We had mussels with pepper as an appetizer for two, which was plentiful and tasty. This was followed by linguine with a truly delicious citrus pesto and a delicious fried shrimp and calamari, not to mention the "tangerine-inspired" dessert, a delight. Overall, the dishes and service were very good, with friendly and helpful staff. Reasonable value for money.
