The food was delicious, but the service from one of the waiters was practically nonexistent. He handed the dishes to you instead of placing them on the table, and he didn't acknowledge your greeting or farewell. If it weren't for the poor service, it would have been a 5-star experience.

Eligio served us and was very attentive. We loved the food, especially the pizza, and the service was great. The prices were good, and I highly recommend it if it's your first time in Rome.

Incredible restaurant! I didn't expect to find such a welcoming place just steps from the Vatican. The food is excellent; I highly recommend the pappardelle alla vaccinara. The service is very fast and attentive. The price is very fair for the area. The atmosphere is very local and authentic.

An unexpected surprise while visiting the Vatican. We didn't have a reservation and were able to eat at this lovely restaurant. Eligio served us; he was very professional and friendly. The food was plentiful and very reasonably priced. 100% recommended 😉

Excellent service, excellent food. Almost everything can be made gluten-free; the waitstaff are very knowledgeable about this. Only the small pasta shapes are gluten-free, but all sauces are available. The focaccia was also gluten-free and delicious (really fluffy). The prices are perfectly reasonable. Highly recommended!

28/09/2025: Excellent ice cream as always...the only problem was the lack of fruit flavors but there were only cream varieties.
26/09/2025: A quiet spot outside the village of Lariano, this is a great place to enjoy artisanal ice cream and chat while sitting at a table.
