The waiter, Eligio, was extremely attentive and friendly. All four of our dishes were exceptional! Cacio pepe, lasagna, filet mignon, and lamb.

An excellent experience! The food was very, very good, with authentic flavors and beautifully presented dishes. The prices were also very reasonable, which makes it even better. The service was impeccable, with everyone very friendly and attentive. We especially want to give a shout-out to our waiter, Elegio, who was incredibly kind and recommended some of his favorite dishes... and he was spot on! Everything we tried was delicious. It's also close to the Vatican. Highly recommended!

We left the Vatican Museum and were drawn to the sign that said "Pinsa." We'd never tried it before, so on Eligio's recommendation, we ordered a Capricciosa and one with mushrooms and sausage, accompanied by two Peroni beers. To finish, we had a fruit tart and iced coffee. I'd love to highlight Eligio's excellent service and kindness. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel comfortable, even though we didn't speak Italian. We would definitely return.

Unposto dove ci si aspetterebbe prezzi alti, servizio affrettato e cibo mediocre. Invece, è tutto il contrario. The atmosphere is warm, the personal cordial and attention. Gli gnocchi erano diversi dal previsto – un passo fuori dalla zona di comfort – ma sicuramente interestingi. L'insalata era fresca e sorprendentemente buona. With a quick birra fresca, it's a peaceful way to enjoy Italian food or to share a meal with others. Great prices, great service, friendly staff. Away from the tourist crowds, but close to the hustle and bustle. You expect high prices, a high turnover rate, and less food. The opposite is true. The food was good and so were the prices. The service was more than excellent. The gnocchi was different than expected, but that was also unfamiliar territory. The salad was excellent. A cold beer was served with it. And we calmly watched the Italians pass by on their way to or from work. Good prices, good food, good people. Recommended if you want to escape the tourist crowds without having to walk far.

We visited Taverna Lino on the recommendation of our hotel—and what an incredible choice it turned out to be! From start to finish, the experience was unforgettable. The pasta dishes were outstanding, bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. The Parmesan cheese was unlike anything we've ever had—it was rich, authentic, and a world apart from the processed versions we’re used to back home in Canada. The focaccia bread was warm and fragrant, and the Caesar salad was fresh and delicious. To top it all off, my daughter and I shared the tiramisu for dessert, and it was hands down the best I’ve ever had—light, creamy, and absolutely perfect. We came looking for an authentic Italian dining experience, and Taverna Lino delivered in every way. A special thank you to Eligio, our wonderful server, who made the evening even more enjoyable with his warm and attentive service. Grazie mille!

I actually got take out from here, my son was feeling bit rough from sunburn/heat, so wanted to eat in our room instead, the staff could not have been lovelier or more helpful, the prices were great and the food was delicious, have the gnocchi with ragu and fettuccini with tomato and basil, out standing, whilst I was sat waiting the atmosphere was lovely too, wish we could have eaten there but still if you want take out then look no further!

Excellent service. Eligio was the best. I am too lazy to write reviews but his service really made the difference. We had an excellent time.
