I visited in the evening on a weekday, and the atmosphere was quiet and pleasant.
I selected five dishes that included truffle, and the server recommended wines that perfectly matched each dish — the wine choices were excellent.
The truffle, a specialty of Tuscany, were incredibly flavorful.
The only slightly disappointing part was the dessert, so I gave it four stars

Really really great experience. We met the best sunset today. The food is amazing and the truffle is quite different than others. It’s a local truffle, lighter and more fruity than the normal ones. We absolutely love it!

This restaurant truly won me over: from the warm welcome to the attentive, smiling service, I immediately felt at home.
The dishes are meticulously crafted, beautiful to look at and, above all, delicious to taste. You can taste the passion behind them. Each course was a small pleasure, with balanced flavors and quality ingredients.
The atmosphere is relaxed and elegant, perfect for a special evening.
I recommend this experience to anyone who loves good food and a special moment. I will definitely return, because it's rare to find a place that so successfully combines quality, attention, and human warmth.

Wow! Everything was amazing from start to finish. The octopus is perfect, the beef trio incredible, and the desserts to die for. Superb atmosphere and top-notch service. A real favorite, I highly recommend!

Nothing to complain about about the place, it's Piazza del Campo. The waiters are very well-prepared and friendly. I come here often; the last time I had guests, some of the dishes were excellent. Yesterday I had a Tuscan burger; I didn't like it, it had a strange flavor. My wife had an elephant ear; it was good, but it was too tall to be called an elephant ear.

We had an incredibly memorable, unique and delicious dinner during our trip through Tuscany at Tar-Tufo. The five-course truffle tasting menu included a variety of well thought out and beautifully presented dishes, all paired with wines which were intentionally chosen to match both the food and our personal preferences. One of us does not eat red meat nor enjoy red wine, yet the owner and the kitchen were very accommodating with both the ingredients and a separate wine pairing for one of us featuring all delicious white wines from across the country. For both the meal and the view, I could not recommend Tar-Tufo enough!
