My wife and I spent 2 days in Rome prior to leaving for a 10 day Greek Island cruise . On our last evening there we wanted to find a nice quite restaurant away from the crowded streets and we came upon this charming restaurant by sheer luck!!! It was tucked away around a street corner at the end of the street hidden away from everyone. We absolutely loved it. We are eventually planning to return to Rome and this restaurant is definitely on our return to list .

Perfect Spot for a Romantic Dinner in Rome Ristorante Strega is simply a fantastic place for a romantic evening in the heart of Rome. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, making it ideal for a special dinner. The waitstaff, especially the waitresses, were incredibly friendly and helpful, offering great suggestions from appetizers to dessert. We started with pizzatele as an appetizer, followed by pizza for the main course, and finished with tiramisu. Every dish was perfectly prepared, but the tiramisu stood out as absolutely divine—one of the best I’ve had! Overall, a flawless dining experience. I would give it 5 out of 5 stars and highly recommend it for anyone seeking a memorable meal in Rome.

I often have lunch or dinner here when in Rome. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes. Some of them are typically Roman, such as saltimbocca (ham topped veal) . When possible, I like to dine on the patio. The service is good and the staff welcoming.

12/08/2024: A good place to have a shot in a chocolate glass in the Trastévere neighborhood. It is a small place surrounded by second-hand books (or second reading, as they say).
16/07/2024: This place offers a truly unique experience. A friend recommended it to me, and it turned out to be a hidden gem in the Trastevere area. The concept is simple yet distinctive: they provide a variety of alcoholic shots, each prepared individually. You take your shot and then exit. It was an awesome and one-of-a-kind experience.

24/10/2023: Very good takeaway pizza, very young and polite team....they are kind and attentive....the fried foods are exceptional, and the pizzas very good and digestible, I tried both the traditional and the cereal dough. Excellent value for money.
