I stayed overnight and used the internal restaurant. Good food, clean and comfortable room. Good welcome, excellent price.

Clean and modern room I would have given one more star... but on a discordant note, customer parking is charged at 30 euros, frankly an exorbitant amount... and parking for those staying overnight should be free! A small suggestion, a basket should also be placed in the bathroom... throwing a sanitary napkin into the one in the bedroom (for ladies who need it) seems unhygienic to me. Net of everything and with the appropriate corrective measures, I would return if necessary... even if I paid a little more...

I booked at the property from 31/1/25 to 2/1/25 the hotel is nice, shame about the staff who are not available to provide answers, very cold and detached, not very welcoming and professional. Reception staff to be reviewed!!!

Everything clean, quiet and modern. Unfortunately, parking costs almost as much as an overnight stay.

I stayed one night at the Hotel Sonia and I didn't want to spend a lot of money as I was away in Trieste and I found a negligible price and a new and modern single room (probably recently renovated) where I slept comfortably. I had read some slightly negative reviews about the hotel, but I had a very good time and I would recommend this hotel :-) Furthermore, with line 21 you are connected to the city center.

Good morning, I stayed for three nights at the Sonia hotel in Trieste. I would say it was a great occasion in your facility. Very clean place and nice staff. 100% recommendable.

I stayed at the Hotel Sonia in Trieste and, unfortunately, my experience did not live up to expectations. The property is dated and in need of renovation, with rooms showing signs of wear and unsatisfactory cleanliness. Also, the location isn't the best, making it inconvenient to travel to the center. However, I want to highlight the excellent service provided by the bartenders and receptionist. They were friendly, helpful and made the stay a little more enjoyable. For this reason, instead of giving just one star, I give three stars for their commitment and professionalism. I hope the hotel can improve in the future.

My assessment has already been expressed. Excellent stop for those who are travelling

We were looking for accommodation for 3 adults for a visit to the city of Trieste. The hotel is in the suburbs, but the bus stop is right next to the hotel, so we chose public transport to visit the city. Parking is expensive, but there was plenty of free parking in the surrounding streets. The rooms correspond to 3 stars. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom is clean. However, there is no refrigerator in the room and I missed the hanger and shelf in the bathroom. On the walls we also found the remains of mosquitoes swatted by previous guests... Breakfast is 15 EUR/person. It's not worth it. There were no vegetables, there were a few slices of bread and we could only choose from 2 types of cold cuts. There was not enough pastry either, but at least it was delicious. We had dinner there on the first day after finding the restaurants in the area closed on Sunday. They only had pizza, which was surprisingly delicious, but the next day we looked for another restaurant. We did not have high expectations, so the hotel was not a big disappointment.
