Ristorante Sonia In San dorligo della valle - dolina

We were looking for accommodation for 3 adults for a visit to the city of Trieste. The hotel is in the suburbs, but the bus stop is right next to the hotel, so we chose public transport to visit the city. Parking is expensive, but there was plenty of free parking in the surrounding streets. The rooms correspond to 3 stars. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom is clean. However, there is no refrigerator in the room and I missed the hanger and shelf in the bathroom. On the walls we also found the remains of mosquitoes swatted by previous guests... Breakfast is 15 EUR/person. It's not worth it. There were no vegetables, there were a few slices of bread and we could only choose from 2 types of cold cuts. There was not enough pastry either, but at least it was delicious. We had dinner there on the first day after finding the restaurants in the area closed on Sunday. They only had pizza, which was surprisingly delicious, but the next day we looked for another restaurant. We did not have high expectations, so the hotel was not a big disappointment.

Not central but clean and quiet Free parking in the area. Everything OK

The hotel is nice, economical, clean and far from the center. Apart from tourists, there are policemen and carabinieri. The rooms do not have a refrigerator.

Wonderful cleanliness ... abundant breakfast and kind staff ...

Mine was an emergency one night stay... at the reception they are quite friendly and helpful... but it depends on who is also slow... the hotel is a bit of a labyrinth... the rooms are very large. .and bright..very comfortable beds, very clean and very white sheets..the rooms could be a little cleaner..dusty television...ditto blinds for the windows.as soon as we lowered and raised them and a lot of dust fell on the bed.the the fact of not having a mini bar penalizes everything... the same goes for the lack of a few extra pillows. for the rest everything is ok including breakfast... and very helpful staff.

A piece of advice...charge more for the rooms and less for the basic services...30 euros to park the car one night is an enormity...even 15 euros for breakfast is a bit...the beautiful and comfortable room costs too much little in return

Only flaw, paid parking with exaggerated price...

Nice room, although the beds were uncomfortable. Air conditioning is a plus. The bathroom is very large (at the expense of the room). Overall clean. We went for breakfast before 9 and it was a mistake because there wasn't much to choose from. And it was supposed to be continental 🤔 The lady at the reception desk probably worked 'as a punishment' 30EUR for parking is definitely excessive. A good hotel to spend the night and move on.

A good place for a quick stopover to rest before a longer route. One max 2 nights.

Kind and helpful, overnight parking costs a little too much but there is plenty of parking nearby. Ideal location for traveling by car, center just under 10 minutes by car
