We loved the place we found. Thank goodness we'd seen it on the website. The food is delicious, but we also had the pumpkin pudding, the cheeses, and some meatballs.

I think I've been going to this place for a couple of years now and I've always had a great experience: the food, the service, the friendliness, the atmosphere, and the price. I'm monotonous and almost always (always) eat "l'oss buss" with risotto, but my companions vary and have always been happy.

Absolutely brilliant, the food was top-notch in both quality and quantity, the prices were top-notch, and the location was top-notch. The outside area is small but nice, and it's a pleasure to eat there.

Situato nel cuore pedonale della città di Como, vicino al famoso Duomo, il Ristorante Sociale è uno dei ristoranti più consigliati della città ... Abbiamo seguito questo consiglio e abbiamo trovato una bella sala a volta che sembra una caverna, un ambiente caldo e accogliente. Abbiamo assaggiato la cucina tradizionale e locale. Le carni sono assolutamente fantastiche, così come i salumi (menzione speciale per le capesante e il fegato di vitello). I dolci non devono essere da meno, tutti fatti in casa! Prezzi ragionevoli (25 € a persona per un antipasto, portata principale e dessert con accompagnamento).

Abbiamo pranzato dopo gli esami orali di terza media. Piatti ottimi, servizio cortese. Fritto misto di pesce, insalata nizzarda, polipo scottato e fragole con gelato. Consigliato !

Giornata dedicata a visitare COMO….ora di pranzo cerchiamo un ristorante locale per evitare i molteplici ristoranti acchiappa turisti….proprio dietro il Duomo in una via tranquilla ci incuriosisce questo ristorante con un nome insolito….bella scelta, buona accoglienza, cucina tradizionale ben proposta. SODDISFATTI!!

16/09/2025: I had lunch at this trattoria at midday. They were really kind. I asked if they had pizzoccheri, which wasn't on the daily menu, and they obliged. They were also very, very good. I recommend it to everyone. It's a shame I don't live nearby. But if I ever get to Como, I'll definitely be back.
16/09/2025: TipTop!!! Slightly inconspicuously located outside of Como's city center, this restaurant impresses with down-to-earth, honest cuisine. The €19 lunch menu includes a first course, a second course, dessert, and drinks, including espresso. Excellent value for money, authentic, and no-nonsense. A definite recommendation for anyone who appreciates authentic Italian home cooking.

13/09/2025: Beautiful location with a splendid view, the dishes are all good, you can taste typical local dishes, prices appropriate for the courses, friendly staff, reservations are required, large parking but insufficient for the restaurant.
