Ristorante Sociale In Como

This is THE Restaurant we go to when we come to Como. The staff is very pleasant, the picturesque setting and the dishes delicious! Remember to book beforehand!

We had the risotto and carbonara. The carbonara was basically scrambled eggs and a very weird flavour (i.e., not only was the sauce overcooked, but something about it was very off also). The risotto flavour was nice, but unfortunately was still crunchy. They bring water and bread to the table without letting you know there is an extra charge (10 Euros in total for two people). I am usually fine with that, but the portion of bread was tiny and no balsamic. The service was okay, friendly waiter at least. Unfortunately, the only thing worth the price was the house wine. Honestly would have had a better meal at the McDonalds down the street. I am giving three stars since it was a more reasonable price than surrounding restaurants, and the waiting staff were good. We were very disappointed by the quality of the food here!

It's been a while since I've been back to the Social Restaurant, a place that's always welcoming. I ate the legendary schnitzel, always excellent, as was the friendliness of the owners. The dessert was nothing short of sublime. See you soon

Good restaurant in a place full of history and charming. The courtyard is very pleasant and the service impeccable! Small disappointment: a little expensive / quantities.

Super cozy place, very nice discovery. This is the best restaurant I have been to during my entire stay here. The lemon pasta was really delicious, the rosebeef also really good. As a starter we had the Parma ham with mozzarella and it was succulent. Prices are a bit high but worth it. The outdoor terrace is non-smoking. Dogs are accepted.

A pretty little restaurant which has a cool and protected courtyard, and where you eat very well! The carbonara is delicious, as is the tiramisu. And the servers are very funny and pleasant! ☀️ To try without hesitation ☺️

Our hotel front desk staff recommended this. We did not have reservations, but were accommodated in their upstairs dining room. it is clear that they have a lot of American customers. Staff were English speaking, so that was super helpful. We got the grilled eggplants and prawns appetizer, the seabass with risotto, beef cheeks, and veal. The best entrée was the beef cheeks. So tender and flavorful. Also got the apple cake with lemon gelato for dessert. The lovely oversized fireplace really accented the room with bright yellow wall. We enjoyed our dinner here, being the last night in Como City. Well done.

Bonne cuisine locale, servie avec générosité, pour des tarifs compétitifs au vu de la localisation et de la qualité. Très bon accueil et service, la salle à l’étage est superbe.
