Personal service in an all too touristy place So yeah, città delle Pieve is, well, touristy. But then, so is most of Italy - but that’s ok, it’s a great place to be a tourist. Then again, sometimes things can get a bit … transactional. And that’s where places like this come in - where the staff remembers you if you show up more than once, the prices are reasonable, and the food is …amazeballs. It’s small, and that helps too, and the menu is pretty tiny too - just a handful of things in each category, but they’re all awesome. And, btw, the Umbricelli all’aglione is …amazeballs

Así que sí, Città delle Pieve es, bueno, turística. Pero también lo es la mayor parte de Italia, pero está bien, es un gran lugar para ser un turista. Por otra parte, a veces las cosas pueden ponerse un poco... transaccionales. Y ahí es donde entran lugares como este - donde el personal te recuerda si apareces más de una vez, los precios son razonables, y la comida es... asombrosa. Es pequeño, y eso también ayuda, y el menú es bastante pequeño también - solo un puñado de cosas en cada categoría, pero todos son impresionantes. Y, btw, el Umbricelli all’aglione es... amazeballs

17/11/2024: Family weekend dedicated to discovering places... discovered by chance thanks to friends... suggestive and very quiet location a few km from Cascia. Really well-kept and pleasant mini-apartment. Too bad we couldn't try the restaurant. Simple breakfast but with homemade products.. very kind owner. We will definitely be back..

18/08/2024: Town pizzeria bar, nice little place but I frequent it in the summer in the evening to look for a bit of fresh air. The service is good, normal prices and the manager is friendly.
