The food was very good, but the sea bass still had a lot of scales, which somewhat spoiled the experience. The restaurant seems to be aiming for fine dining. The terrace was absolutely lovely. We'll definitely be back.

The food was quite good, but the price/performance ratio was poor. Due to the bad weather, we sat inside, where the ambiance wasn't exactly appealing.

We've been coming here for many years, and it's always a pleasure. We feel very welcome here and enjoy every second. For us, San Silvestro is one of the best restaurants on Lake Como and a must-visit on any vacation.

17/08/2025: The pizzas are truly delicious. The Calamari alla Diavola is also highly recommended. We've been coming here regularly for over 10 years and have never been disappointed. Always friendly service, even when the restaurant is full and during peak season! Excellent value for money.

09/10/2025: A very unique place, set up like a shop selling local products—wines, preserves, pasta, etc., displayed on shelves all around and organized by region—with a delicatessen/delicatessen-style counter at the entrance and tables in the center for on-the-go dining. I went there for an aperitif with a friend who knew it. We opted for two glasses, which were served with a small plate of coppa and pecorino cheese with some croutons, all a bit limited. The atmosphere feels a bit dated and could use a makeover. The products are good but could use some updating. Let's just say the place should perhaps be more distinctive overall. The service, however, is friendly, so I'm giving it 4 stars out of encouragement. Before recommending it, I'd like to return to check it out more...
20/07/2025: We stumbled upon this gem exploring google maps reviews looking for some nice place to eat on a Sunday in July. We lowed everything about the place. The food was tasty and the owners really nice and helpful with recommendations. You can feel the good vibe here. Parking spots are available right in front of the place.
